1. Independence Day Speech

Good morning greetings to all my respected teachers, guardians, and dear friends. Today we have gathered here to celebrate this great national occasion. As we know that Independence Day is a great opportunity for all of us. This is a very important day for all Indian citizens and it has been mentioned in history for ever. This is the day when we got independence from the British rule after hard struggle of years by the great freedom fighters of India. To remember the first day of India's independence, we celebrate Independence Day on August 15 every year as well as remember the sacrifices of all those great leaders who sacrificed their lives for India's independence.

India gained independence from the British rule on August 15, 1947. After Independence, we get all basic rights in our nation and our motherland. We must be proud of being ours and should praise our good fortune that we are born in the land of freedom in India. India's history of slaves, everything is done, how our ancestors fought hard and tolerated the cruel torture of the warriors. We can not imagine sitting here how difficult it was to get freedom from British rule. It has sacrificed life of countless freedom fighters and has fought for many decades from 1857 to 1947. The first voice against the British for the independence of India was raised by Mangal Pandey, a soldier in the British army.

Later many great freedom fighters fought and gave their entire life for freedom. We all can never forget Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose and Chandrasekhar Azad, who at the young age gave their lives while fighting the country. How can we bypass Netaji and Gandhiji struggles. Gandhiji was a great personality who taught the Indians a lesson about non-violence. He was the only leader who showed the path of freedom through non-violence. And finally after the long struggle, on August 15, 1947, the day came when India got freedom.

We are fortunate enough that our ancestors have given us the land of peace and happiness where we can sleep all night without fear and can have fun all day in our school and home. Our country is rapidly developing in technology, education, sports, finance, and many other areas which was not possible without freedom. There is an India in rich countries in nuclear energy. We are moving forward by actively participating in sports like Olympic, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games. We have complete freedom to choose our government and are using the world's largest democracy. Yes, we are free and complete freedom, although we must not consider ourselves free of responsibility towards our country. Being a responsible citizen of the country, we should always be prepared for any emergency.

2. Independence Day Speech

Hello the morning to the honorable chief guest of the day, the respected teacher, the guardian and my dear friends. I warmly greet you all with the Independence Day. We all know the reason of being gathered in a large crowd here. We are all excited to celebrate this great day in a wonderful way. We are all gathered here to celebrate 69th Independence Day of our nation. First we hoist our national flag, then thereafter salute freedom fighters' heroic work. I feel proud to be an Indian citizen I have had the opportunity to give a speech on Independence Day to all of you. I would like to thank my respected class teacher that he gave me an opportunity to keep my thoughts in front of everyone on India's independence.

We celebrate Independence Day every year on August 15, because on the night of 14th August 1947, India gets independence. Immediately after India's independence, Pandit Jawahar Lala Nehru delivered the speech on Independence Day in New Delhi. When people from all over the world were asleep, people in India were awake to get life and freedom from British rule. Now, after independence, India is the largest democratic country in the world. Our country is famous for its unity in diversity. It has faced many incidents in order to test its secularism while the people of Bharti are always prepared to answer their unity.
Due to the tough struggles of our ancestors, we have been able to conserve our freedom and can breathe in open air with our will. Freedom from the British was extremely impossible, but our fathers-in-law got it from continuous effort. We can never forget their work and will always remember them through history. We can not remember the works of all the freedom fighters in just one day, although they can salute them with their heart. He will always be in our memories and will work for inspiration for the whole life. Today is a very important day for all Indians, whom we celebrate to remember the sacrifices of great Indian leaders, who gave their lives for the country's freedom and prosperity. India's independence could be possible because cooperation, sacrifice, and all Indians were involved. We should give importance and salute to all those Indian citizens because they were the real national heroes. We must trust in secularism and not be separated from it to maintain unity, so that no one can break it and can not rule over us again.

We must eat less today, we will become a responsible and educated citizen of India tomorrow. We must seriously deal with our duties and work hard to achieve the goal and should successfully provide leadership to this democratized nation.

Jai Hind Jai Bharat.

3. Independence Day Speech

Hearty greetings in the morning to my dear friends and respected teachers present here. On 15th August we have all gathered to celebrate this auspicious occasion of Independence Day. These days we celebrate with full enthusiasm and happiness, because on this day, in 1947, India attained independence from the British rule. We have come here to commemorate the 69th Independence Day here. This is a very great and important day for all Indians. Indian people have tolerated the brutal behaviors of the British for many years. Today we are free in almost all areas like education, sports, transport, trade etc. Because it was possible only due to the struggles of our ancestors. Prior to 1947, there was a lot of restrictions on people, even on their minds and bodies. They were the slaves of the British and were forced to obey every order of theirs. Today, we are free to do anything because of the great Indian leaders who have fought hard for many years to gain independence against British rule.

Independence Day is celebrated throughout India with great happiness. This is a very important day for all Indians because it gives us a chance to remember those great freedom fighters who sacrificed their life to give us a peaceful and beautiful life. Before independence, people were forbidden to read, write, eat, and live normal lives like us. Should be grateful to those programs responsible for freedom in India. To compensate for their meaningless orders, the British were treated worse than the slaves with the Indians.

Some great freedom fighters of India are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Gandhiji, JL Nehru, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad etc. These were famous patriots who fought hard for India's freedom till the end of their lives. We can not even imagine those horror moments of struggle by our ancestors. After Independence, our country is on the right track of development. Today our country is well established in the whole world as a democratic country. Gandhi was a great leader who told us about the effective methods of freedom like non-violence and satyagraha. Gandhi saw the dream of independent India with nonviolence and peace.

India is our homeland and we are its citizens. We should always be prepared to protect her from the bad guys. It is our responsibility to lead our country forward and make it the best country in the world.

Jai Hind.

4. Independence Day Speech

Greetings to all the people, respectful teachers and morning students to my dear classmates. We are here to celebrate 69th Independence Day. I am very happy to give a speech on this special occasion. I am very grateful to my class teacher who gave me a special opportunity to keep my thoughts on my country's independence. On this special occasion of Independence Day, I would like to give a speech on the struggle of Indians to get freedom from the British rule.

Many years ago, the great leaders of India had pledged 'from Bhagyavadhhu' that they will give us a free and peaceful country by renouncing the pleasures of our lives. Today we have come here to celebrate Independence Day with no fear and happy faces, only because of our brave ancestors. We can not think of how difficult it is that time. We have nothing to give to our ancestors in exchange for their precious hard work and sacrifice. We can only remember them and work and can salute them while celebrating national programs. They will always be in our hearts. India's new birth after independence with laughing faces of all Indian citizens.

India gained independence on August 15, 1947, due to British rule. Every year, Indian people celebrate this national festival with full joy and enthusiasm every year. This was a great day for all Indian citizens when the Indian Tricolor was hoisted on the Red Fort of New Delhi by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister.

Each year, a huge celebration is held in Rajpath, New Delhi, where the national anthem is sung after the flag hoisting by the Prime Minister. With the national anthem 21 guns salute and the helicopter is torrential to the tricolor. There is a national holiday on Independence Day, although everyone celebrates it by hoisting the flag in school, office, or society from their place. We should be proud to be an Indian and should give our best contribution to safeguard our country's respect.

Jai Hind.
