Why Mother's Day is Celebrated (History of Mother's Day in India)

It was the first time that Greek and Roman celebrations started in the ancient times. However, this celebration was also seen in the UK as 'Mamta Sundays'. The celebration of Mother's Day has become modern everywhere. It is celebrated in a very modern way, not like the old methods of old years. It is celebrated in almost 46 countries around the world on different dates. This is a big celebration for everyone when people get a chance to honor their mother. We should thank the history which was the reason for the birth of Mother's Day.

In the past, ancient Greeks were highly dedicated to their mother goddess on special occasions of annual spring festivals. According to Greek mythology, they used to celebrate this occasion for the honor of Rihah (i.e. the daughters of a lot of Goddesses and also the Cronus wife).

The ancient Romans used to celebrate a spring festival named after Hilaria, which was dedicated to Sebel (i.e. a Goddess Mother). At the same time, devotees used to offer sacrifices in front of Sebel Devi Mother in the temple. The whole festival was held for three days in which there was a lot of other activities like the creation of a variety of sports, parades and face, and the swong was composed.

Mother's Day is celebrated by Christians on the fourth Sunday to honor the virgin Mary (Mother of the Mother). There is a separate history of celebrating Mother's Day in England around 1600 BC. Christian couples worship Mary, offer them some flowers and gifts, and pay tribute to them.

In the year 1972, Julia Ward Howe (a poet, activist and author) decided to celebrate Mother's Day in the United States as an official program. In the form of a peace program to commemorate the Mother's Day on June 2 and on 2nd June, she had advised Mother's Day.

Anna Jarvis is known as the founder of Mother's Day in America (famous as Mother's Day) though she was a unmarried woman and she did not have children. He was highly inspired by his mother's love and upbringing and after all his death he asked all the mothers of the world to dedicate their mother to one day as a symbol of respect and true love.

In today's days, it is celebrated in many countries like UK, China, India, US, Mexico, Denmark, Italy, Finland, Turkey, Australia, Canada, Japan and Belgium etc. People celebrate this day with great enthusiasm and joy by organizing many activities to give true tributes to their mother.

How is Mother's day celebrated

For all, Mother's Day is a very special day of the year. Those who love and care for their mother very much celebrate this special day in many ways. This year is the only day that is dedicated to all mothers of the world. People living in different countries celebrate this festival on different dates, as well as follow the rules and calendars of our country to celebrate this lovely festival.

In India it is celebrated in almost every region of the country on the second Sunday of May every year. The way of celebrating this festival has changed a lot throughout the modern day of India today. It has now become a big awareness program for the society. All participate in this festival in their own way and celebrate it. In this country full of diversity, it is a sign of the presence of foreign festivals. This is a global festival which is celebrated in many countries.

A huge revolution in society has brought high technology like computers and the Internet, which usually appears everywhere. In today's days, people are very aware of their relationships and want to show respect and respect by celebrating it. India is a country of great culture and traditions where people give their mother first priority. Therefore, the celebration of Mother's Day here is very important for us. This is the day when we feel the love, care, hard work and inspiring thoughts of our mother. He is a great person in our life without which we can not imagine a simple life. He is such a person who makes our life very easy with his love.

Therefore, through the celebration of Mother's Day, we get only one day in full year to thank your mother. By understanding their importance, this is a day to celebrate and respect them. Our mother is as inspiring and guiding power for us, which helps us to always go ahead and emerge from any problem.

In order to convince them about the importance of the mother and to make them aware about this festival, a big festival is organized by the teachers on Mother's Day in the school. To become part of this celebration, mothers of small children are especially invited. On this day, every child says something about his mother through poetry, essay writing, speech, dance, music, talk etc. Mothers are also asked to do or do something for their children by school teachers to show their children something done in class. Usually mother gives dance and music to her children. At the end of the festival, mothers also bring some sweet dish to all the students of the class and give each one the equal share. Children also offer handmade greeting cards and gift items for their mother. To celebrate this day differently, children go to places, malls, parks and places to have fun with their parents.

People associated with Christianity celebrate it in their own way. To honor your mother, do special worship on this day of God in the church. By giving them a greeting card and a breakfast on the bed, the children give wonderful gifts to their mother. On this day, the children give their mother to sleep late in the morning and do not bother them, as well as make them happy by making delicious dishes. To make your mother happy, some children buy readymade gifts, clothes, purses, accessories, jewelry etc. At night, everyone enjoys good dishes at home or in the restaurant with their family.
