Teacher

In shaping the life of a person, a good teacher contributes more to his parents. In our country's culture, the teacher has been placed above God. The guidance and support of a good guru in achieving the goal of one's life is very important. Every successful person always remembers the role of the creator played by his master in his school-college days, the teacher's work can not be included in the thank-you word. While improving the lives of the students, the Guru works most honestly, apart from teaching and writing, teachers also take care of the students in other extravagant verbs. Student is dependent on his teacher for every aspect and guidance of his life; And a good master never disappoints his disciple.

Teacher's Day is celebrated on 5th September every year to thank and thank the contribution given by countless teachers in shaping and helping the future of millions of students, and as a result, India's fate is taking shape.

Teacher's Day will be celebrated on Wednesday 5th September 2018.

Origin of Teacher's Day Celebration

In honor of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, this day has been marked to commemorate the day of teacher day from 1962, which was born on 5th September 1888. Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was a great scholar, philosopher and teacher of modern India, and he was also honored with Bharat Ratna in 1954. He became the second President of India in 1962. Therefore, it was only natural that his birthday was celebrated to give respect to millions of unknown teachers across the country. It was his wish that it would be better to celebrate this day on 5th September every year as a teacher day instead of celebrating his birthday.

India's teacher day is different from the Teachers' Day of the world which is celebrated on October 5 in the whole world.

Teacher's Day: The way of the ceremony

On this day, in every school of the country, as a symbol of respect and love towards their guru, students manage and exhibit a variety of cultural programs and activities. Excellent teachers are also rewarded for getting good results from the students and for their contribution in the development of the school.

In order to express affection and gratitude towards your favorite teacher, the student gives gifts to the master himself. A life-long relationship develops between the student and the teacher. The teacher also feels special on this day because his hard work and honesty are respected.

The role of teachers in making the nation is of great importance and meaning; Therefore, it is necessary that we express their utmost respect and gratitude and celebrate the special relationship of the student-teacher in the form of September 5.

PM Modi's Speech on Teachers Day 2015

According to the media report: One day before 5th September 2015, on the 4th of September, in the morning between 10: 00-11: 45, Modi addressed the students on a large scale on Teachers day. He has given his speech one day before the 5th of September, because there will be a holiday due to Janmashtami on 5th September 2015.

He has spoken on September 4 to share some suggestions on public speaking with students from all over the country. He answered the question of a student ("How did you achieve such a masterpiece in your oratory?"), Who was very eager to know how PML gives a speech without a script? P.M. responded, "To be a good speaker you need to be a good listener. You need to listen to both your eyes and ears." He encouraged the students by saying, "Do not worry about what people will say. Do not be afraid. You should be self-confident".

He said, write whatever you want to say, "which will help to make your speech fluid". They also suggested to the students that they should also get help from Google and YouTube and said, "After all, you are all a Google guru student (students). If you look at other speeches online, you will gain confidence. "

Another student asked him about the leadership which gave him the answer, "You have to connect with people to be a leader." Their pain will give you sleepy nights, " He urged the students to think, "Why would they want to be a leader?", "For happiness, to be chosen, or to solve problems."

Controversy over PM Modi's speech on September 5, 2014

Although children of India celebrate this day as Teachers' Day, when they show their love and respect for their guru and in return Guru even lifts their affection on his disciples, but this year, Teacher's Day general student of 5th September 2014 Besides the teacher's festivities, there is also discussion for other reasons.

As per the directive of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, it was said to all government and private schools of the entire country that with the school children in Delhi's Manekshaw Auditorium, please assure and manage PM Narendra Modi's live speech on Teachers Day.
In the said instructions, it was also said that the schools have to make arrangements for television, cable connections and projectors etc. The student can also see the question-answer session, whose live broadcast will be on Doordarshan between 3 to 4-45 in the evening.

Controversial Instructions

But this instruction was condemned by some schools and opposition parties on the ground that it would not be possible for the children to see the speech of the PM at 5 o'clock till evening. The opposition party advised that the timing of the speech should be in line with school children, so that the small school children will not have to stay in the school till the evening.

Apart from this, the other problem that the school administration had to face was that in the short notice of time, it was difficult to manage the necessary technical equipment for the live broadcast of the speech, as all schools in the country were not equipped with modern telecommunications equipment and structure.

Another question which is important is that school children can be compelled to see and listen to the speech of PM. Although the country's PM has the right to address the children of the nation but it is compulsory to listen to them, it seems unlawful.
It is hoped that the dispute of teacher day will not affect the goodness of this day, which is celebrated on 5th September every year in memory of the great educationist and scholar, President Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, and the purity and utility of teacher's day has been tarnished by meaningless political disputes. Will not reach

It would have been nice if teacher's day always remained in the form of love and respect of master-disciple bonds as it always remains.
