Reliance Jio is working on several services besides its own telecommunications operations, and there are latest reports about launching long-awaited JioFiber FTP Broadband service in the country. The company is also working on its very waiting DTH service.
Reliance Jio is known for its ultra-cheap data and voice bundles, which revolutionize the Indian telecom market and makes the world's largest consumer of mobile data in India. There is a series of these unfriended products and services in Jio. Joy DTH set-top box is likely to be linked to the JioFiber Broadband for Internet TV.
The Jio Set-top box is not like any other rectangular black box, which we see with traditional DTH services. With the next-generation connectivity options on the board, there is a very slim design in the Jiobox.
The JIO Set-top box can be combined with any standard HDMI television and can instantly transform the TV into a smart TV, such as Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire Stick. Xiao is also working to provide quality content with its Xiao DTH service.
Media streaming and 4K support
All geo applications can be run in the set-top box of Geo, including Geotevi and Geoquina, other media streaming apps such as NetFlick, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar and Wat. It will be available to download the Android app on your TV integrated with the Google Play Store.
The set-top box will support 4K content and 16GB of onboard storage will also be used to store downloaded content. In addition, you can also connect external hard drives up to 2TB to play your content on the TV.
