SSC CHSL Admit Card 2018: Learn about Admit Card, Syllabus, Pattern and Result

Staff Selection Board (SSC) has sought applications for posts of LDC / JSA, Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant and DEO. These positions will be selected by SSC CHSL. Learn about the exams exam, Exam pattern, Examination date, Admit card, and complete information about the results.

Exam pattern: There will be examinations in three stages for recruitment on data entry operators, postal assistants and sorting assistants, lower division clerks and court clerks. The first tier will be computer based examination which will be given online. The first tier examination will be four parts.

Tier 2 will have a Discriptive Exam in which the candidates will be asked to write an application or letter in 150-200 words. In addition, he has to write an essay in 200-250 words. Tier 3 has skill and typing test. It is mandatory for Tier 2 candidates to get at least 33 percent marks. Candidates can write papers in Hindi or English.

Syllabus:

For Tier 1: There will be four sections of the examination in the first tier, which will include General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness Test. There will be 25 questions for two numbers in each section. Candidates will be given 60 minutes to solve 100 questions. There will be negative marking in the examination and 0.50 number will be deducted on the wrong answer. Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.

For Tier 2: Tier 2 papers are for candidates' test of writing skills. It will be a 100 digit descriptive paper. For this, 60 minutes is also scheduled. Minimum qualifying mark for tier 2 is 33 percent. Marks of Tier 2 Examination are also added in the merit. Candidates can write papers in Hindi or English.

For Tier 3: Tier 3 examines candidates' skill and typing. The final merit of SSC CHSL Examination is determined on the basis of the total number of candidates received by Tier 1 and Tier 2 candidates.

Tier 1 Examination - March 4 to March 26, 2018
Tier 2 Examination - 8 July 2018
