IBPS or Banking Personnel Selection Institute is a government body established in 1975 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The body is responsible for recruiting all nationalized banks (excluding SBI) clerk and official division in India. IBPS does a national level test for clerical recruitment in various nationalized banks in India annually. IBPS Clerk recruitment includes 2 stages of examination - after being initially and mainly absorbed for the post at the end. IBPS Clerk 2018 official notification is expected to be released in the fourth week of August 2018.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Vacancies

As of now, no official notification has been released with regards to IBPS Clerk 2018 recruitment.

However, in 2017, 7,884 (approx) vacancies were released.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Date

The IBPS Clerk 2018 (Preliminary) examination will be conducted on the 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th December 2018.

The main exam will be conducted on 20th January 2019.

Mode of Answering

IBPS Clerk 2018 (both Preliminary & Main test) will be computer-based test (CBT).

Medium of Examination

IBPS Clerk 2018 (both preliminary & Main) will be conducted in both HINDI & ENGLISH except for English language skill test.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Aspirants must hold ensure either of the following nationalities:

  • Citizenship of India or
  • subject of Bhutan or Nepal or
  • a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • A person of Indian origin, who is permanently intending from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, East African countries of Uganda, United States Republic of Tanzania (East Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam. Settling in india

IBPS Clerk 2018 Age Limit (1st Sept 2018)

IBPS Clerk 2018 Age limit must lie between 20 years and 28 years. Candidate must be born on or after 2nd Sept 1990 and before 1st Sept 1998.

Age relaxations offered under various categories are as follows:

Academic Qualification (As on September 2018)

Applicants should be graduated from any recognized university or institute.

Candidates are required to hold the original degree at the time of registration for the IBPS Clerk 2018 examination.

In addition, candidates should have knowledge of computer systems and be able to operate their work.

Candidates should have proficiency in the official language of the state or state, where the applicant has applied to work.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Application Form

IBPS Clerk 2018 Application forms are yet to be released. 

The application form must be filled online and will be available on the official website of IBPS.

IBPS Clerk 2018 official notification will be released in the last week of August 2018.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Fee

IBPS Clerk 2018 fee is Rs. 600 for candidates of general category and Rs. 100 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/EXSM category.

Candidates are required to pay the application fee through the medium of:

Credit card/Debit card or Net banking. IMPS. Mobile Wallets.

Photograph & Signature Documents

  • Passport-sized colored photograph – 200 X 230 in dimensions – 20kb – 50Kb – JPEG/JPG format.
  • Scanned Signature in Black-ink – 140 X 60 pixels – 10kb-30kb – JPEG/JPG format.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2018 

IBPS Clerk 2018 will be a 2-step recruitment process with an initial and main examination.

Candidates who pass the initial and main exams will be absorbed in various nationalized banks as clerks.

Preliminary test

The IBPS Clerk 2018 (Initial) examination will be 1 hour long, in which the test will be divided into 3 sections. In each of the period, 100 marks each will be 1 million. The initial test pattern is

For every incorrect answer, a deduction of 0.25 marks will be made.

Main Examination

IBPS Clerk 2018 (Main Examination) has 190 MCQs spread across four sections / subjects. The time of this examination will be 160 minutes or 2 hours and 40 minutes. A certain amount of time

The Admit Card for IBPS Clerk 2018 examination will be available on IBPS's official website. Admission letter for the preliminary examination will be issued in November 2018.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Answer Key

IBPS Clerk 2018 examination will be issued by the officials of Key Banking Personnel Selection Board at least 3 days after the examination.

Cut Off

Cut off students are eligible for examination. Based on the marks obtained, candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process. After conducting the examination, the officials have provided cut off list.

Results

The results of prelims and main exams will be available on the IBPS official website. IBPS Clerk 2018 (Preliminary) test results will be issued in the first week of December 2018.

The end result, however, will be released in the first week of March 2019.
