In the twentieth century, the press is a powerful force. This is the stronghold of strength and influence. It can make a common man and hero a hero of a common man. A politician has called it the fourth estate and another politician has always called it the Parliament of the people in the session.

The Press guides the public's opinion which in turn creates or manufactures governments. Our daily paper is continuously molding and shaping our political opinion.

During the Indian independence movement, it was an Indian press that mobilized public opinion and prevented public discretion. Some excellent papers were punished for their excellent patriotism. Heavy securities were demanded and seized. Sometimes editors were kept behind the bars for siding with people against the government of the day.

The great leaders of the world are journalists. In England, Lord Morley edited the 'Paul Mall Gazetted'. Mahatma Gandhi was the editor of Young India, Navjivari and Harjri.

Mr. Jinnah started The Dawn, which propagated two nation principles in India and secured Pakistan for the Muslims of India. News magazines manage unlimited power and influence. They can pull a minister or government into pieces.

War on the campaign front is more important than the battle of armies. The press shows the public opinion as well as the size. It gives both and takes it. The public is a follower of its leader. The press acts as a platform where readers can express their individual grid independent views on any burning theme of the day.

In every country, there are some papers that are nothing but artistic organs. They are party mouthpieces. They give us one-sided views of the problems of the people of the state and the world. In their case, party interest is the highest.

Their sole purpose is party propaganda and not a purposeful presentation of facts. 'The Dawn' is the official letter of the Muslim League of Pakistan and 'The Hindustan Times' is the party organ of the Congress party in India.

There are some irresponsible papers. They are called yellow presses or gutter presses. As long as he does not provide some huffs, he condemns someone else in authority and spoils. Then they look for some new victims. Such papers are positively harmful and should be left to them.

We crave for our daily paper as a drunken lust for the glass of wine They are our first interested in the morning. Dailies not only include news but also informative articles on present subjects, common knowledge, economic matters and scientific inventions.

The Sunday versions of some newspapers include the magazine section. These sections contain interesting articles for small people. They include stories, biographies and information about the latest films. They include interesting articles on important places and trips on nations and nations and burning topics in different countries of the world. They have beautiful reviews on the latest books published in different parts of the world.

Newspapers are full of all types of advertisements. There are marital desires, 'seek situations', and 'situations are empty'. There are admission notice and notice regarding sale of rent or machinery for houses or bungalows. They bring buyers and sellers closer to each other.

Journalists are very important people. In each conference or public function, press conferences are given to the front seats. Even in the assembly and parliament, the press gallery is reserved for them.

With the spread of literacy and industrialization of the country in India, journalism will expand in any way and the power to be calculated with the press will be made.
