Science has completely changed the pattern of human life. Today our life is basically different from the ancestors. Even a few hundred years ago, humans were largely on the mercy of nature. Whenever there was a disaster, there is only consolation in the message contained in the Provob, "can not be cured properly". But science has enhanced man's power on nature and therefore he has gained trust in himself.

Science has made life easier. We do not cover long distance on our feet to meet our relatives. Now we can easily go to any place. Travel is now very comfortable with land, sea or air. Similarly, we should not depend on candles or oil-lamps to remove darkness in the night. Electricity now works miracles for us.

In fact, science has provided us so many facilities of life.

Science has made human life much better than anything done in the past. Science has extended life span duration. It has reduced the infant mortality rate. It has also enabled us to fight diseases. In case of diagnosis of patients and surgeons, doctors and surgeons are now in a beneficial position. Apart from this, due to the use of anesthetics, we are now largely free from the fear of pain. Thus science plays a great role in both health and disease.

Science has enabled us to do a lot of work in a short span of time and with very little physical stress. We have invented many machines so that we can do various unpleasant and difficult jobs. Science has freed us from the rigors of manual work. Science has provided us the means of cheap entertainment. Gramophone, radio, tape recorder, television, and cinema have made our lives enjoyable.

Science has brought different nations closer to each other. This resulted in the promotion of standing and establishment of brother-relations. Science has made us really decent.
