Nepal, officially the Nepal Democratic Republic of the country, is a port country of 26.4 million population of South Asia. This is a multi-ethnic country, whose official national language is Nepali. Nepal's capital is Kathmandu and it is also the largest city in Nepal. Modern Nepal is the absolute parliamentary republic.
 
The borders of China in the north of Nepal and the border of India in south, east and west. Because of the low Indian corridors and the Indian state of Sikkim, there is neither the border of Bangladesh nor the Bhutan of Nepal. Nepal is inhabited in the Himalayas and is home to the world's 10 highest mountains, including Mount Everest. Its southern Madhesh part is fertile and moist. Located in 147181 sq. Nepal is a single developing country, Nepal's place in the Human Development Index 2014 is at 145th position. Nepal had to struggle hard to convert from the empire to the Republic. In spite of these challenges, Nepal has made commendable development and the government has also claimed to be able to bring Nepal out of the less developed countries by 2022 in the developed countries.

Nepal has good friendship with India and the United Kingdom. It is also the founder member of the SAARC. It is also a member of the United Nations and BIMSTEC. Nepal is also counted in important countries of the world.
