Jal Mahal History

Jal Mahal is in the middle of Man Sagar Sarovar of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan state of India. In the 18th century, Maharaja Jai Singh II of Aamer built Palace and Jal Mahal here. "Jal Mahal has been built in the form of charming eyes."

The sailors of the traditional Vrindavan also made the boats (boat) of ladders in Rajput style. A sailor who takes a splash in the water takes you to Jal Mahal. The roads made in the palace are also decorated and if you go a bit higher then you also get to see the jasmine garden, whose fragrance will definitely attract your mind.

Next to the lake you will see a huge mountain, on which the historic temples and forts are built and on the other side of the lake you will see the pink city of Jaipur.

The most attractive variation of the Jal Mahal is itself a tank. Because the garbage deposited in the lake and dirt is shed from the bottom. Nearly 2 tons of toxic is shed and water system has also been developed to keep the reservoir water pure. You can also find different and beautiful birds on this lake.

The place where the tank is currently used was used to collect water. In the time of 1596 AD there was a famine of water in this region.

Then the ruler of Aamer decided to make a dam so that he could collect the wasting water. According to the plan, the dam was constructed and water was collected by collecting water from Amar mountain and Amagad mountain.

Built for some time, this dam was made of stone in 17th Century. And today this dam is about 300 meters (980 feet) long and 28.5-34.5 meters (94-113 feet) deep. An internal 3 gate has also been constructed to shed water.

So that water can be transferred to the farm when necessary.

From then on, this dam became quite famous in the local people and after this, the rulers also repaired it from time to time by the rulers of Rajasthan, and in the 18th Century, Amer Jai II II rebuilt it.

At that time there were more historical buildings, such as Aamer Kila, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigad Fort, Khilangarh Fort and Kanak Vrindavan Valley. All these buildings and monuments in Rajasthan have become the main attraction for tourists.
