Staff Selection Commission organizes SSC-10+2 examination for the posts of Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator every year. The SSC LDC and DEO exam selection process is quite simple. The first stage is an all-India written examination (Tier 1, Tier 2) and the second phase is a typing test. Tier-I exam covers 200 marks and the total time duration for this exam is 60 minutes.

• There will be a total of 25 questions (100 questions in total): - (i) General Intelligence and Reasoning (ii) English Language (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) General Awareness. Every question is of 2 marks.
• Each part has the same importance, so candidates must concentrate on each part of this examination.
• It should be noted by the candidates that this examination has a negative mark of 0.50 points. Therefore, the scheme of examination is according to pattern and course of SSC.
• Please note that there is no sectional cut off for the CHSL 2018 exam.

Tier – I Exam Pattern :- SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2019 & Scheme is given below :

• The Exam Will be Computer Based (Tier 1).
• The Exam Will be Online Objective Type.

• Written exam consist of one objective type paper of 200 Marks / 100 Marks.
• The questions of Sections (General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic skill) General Awareness) Will be Set in Both Language I.e. English & Hindi. Only English Language Section will be in English.
• There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
• Total Time Duration for this exam is 01:00 Hours (60 minutes).

The candidates have to make strategies about time management according to their strengths. First, optimize those sections that are well prepared. Marks will be added to Final Merit for Tier 1, so that more questions with better accuracy. The Tier 1 examination should follow the given strategy.

• Reasoning: 15 minutes
• English: 15 minutes
• General awareness: 10 minutes
• Quantitative Ability: 20 minutes

Aptitude is a segment that plays a final role in candidates' scores and merit list. Candidates who score in this section have the possibility to move beyond 130 out of 200 points.

• In order to solve this section, candidates need to save time in written test. Candidates are advised to save time with logic, English and general awareness because this part takes more time to solve problems.
• In order to answer this part, candidates need to practice more on selected topics.
• The candidates have set the goal of your questions to solve all other sections with due care, as it is practically not possible to solve all the 50 questions in 2 hours time. The subject-oriented scheme is useful for problem solving.
• Candidates are advised not to solve the questions on time. The habit of identifying the nature of seeing the question can only come after the practice of more questions.
