1-Speech on Deforestation
My respected class teacher and dear friends - hearty congratulations to all of you !!
I am very happy that I am being tasked with deforestation to discuss this topic. I am a lover of nature and I like being surrounded by rivers and trees. So when I see men attacking nature, destroying trees and polluting rivers, I get very angry and we want to urge our government to take strict action against such people who are selfish To harm nature.
Thus, deforestation means the shrinking of forest land in the context of the area. You will be surprised to know that the forest cover of 7,000 million hectares has faced global glitches and has reached 2,400 million hectares in 2000. It is calculated that about 40% of forest land cover has been lost in the tropical zone compared to about 1% in temperate regions.
In our country, at the dawn of the 20th century, forest cover area was 30% of the whole land. However, when this century ended, it reduced to almost 19.4%, while National Forest Policy of India (1968) recommended 67% forest areas for mountainous areas and 33% for plains.
Now, let's understand how the deforestation affects our environment:
- This leads to an increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide in our environment;
- The soil quality gets spoiled because it first gets dry and further destroyed by water and air;
- Deforestation also reduces rainfall, increases risk of drafts;
- It creates an imbalance in the atmosphere by cooling the summers and cooling the winter;
- Availability of fuel wood and wood has greatly reduced. Apart from this, products such as gums, latex, tar tannins and lacs are readily available;
- Deficiency of soil leads to erosion of soil and finally desertification, which is totally useless. Land of fertile and moist forests is transformed into desert due to the fall in the amount of rainfall and there is no news of flood in this way.
As the word described above, desertification is not similar to deforestation, so understand the difference between the two:
- It is about changing the fertile and dry land into a dry desert;
- The temperature is either low or high;
- Rain is much less compared to evaporation;
- There is no flood;
- Desertification is due to soil erosion;
- Perverted land is a complete waste which can not be used for any creative use.
- This forest is about deficiency in land cover;
- This causes the erosion of soil;
- The incidence of rain decreases;
- It triggers flash flood;
- Moderate potential temperature is affected.
Thus, when due to deforestation, it is very bad for our environment, our government should put a complete ban on this practice and people should spread awareness to grow more and more trees. Even though it has been so much publicized and done in the past, movements such as the famous Chipko movement, the Mauk Valley movement and the Tehri Dam Development for the sake of some people have spread awareness among the public and have preserved forests and forests. Of course our nature.
But this is not the end because today's young generation has to awaken people's conscience against handling things from there and killing trees and forests.
2-Speech on Deforestation
Dear Friends - Warm greetings to all of you!
Thank you for trying our best for our campaign to gather here and "save the trees." It goes without saying that the tree is a life-giving source for all living species, yet man is bent on destroying the very source which is a reason behind our existence on earth. Deforestation should not be encouraged at any level by our government, because the process of cutting trees or burning forest trees and woods is not a sound act.
This activity thinks about man's great selfishness, so that he can do anything to make his life comfortable and easy. It is true that the current residential areas are not sufficiently adequate with the increasing population and hence the deprivation of forest land is done. In addition, slow growing trees have been replaced with increasingly growing plants and woods, which means that the valuable environment of forests is comparatively less valuable in biodiversity ecosystems, such as plantation, Crops and pastures as well as clearing rainforests away from the trees.
There are two main issues related to deforestation. First of all, as we all know, CO2 reduces the amount of carbon dioxide from our atmosphere. Carbon is a key contributor to global warming and keeping a check on emissions of such gases can slow down and even prevent the greenhouse effect.
The second concern is that trees are often cut and burned. Wood removed from trees is also thrown out and it is not used for any creative purpose. In addition, burning of woods emits carbon and other dangerous greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, yet the number of trees is cut, which helps in removing these harmful gases from the atmosphere. Tropical deforestation also leads to global warming and contributes nearly 20% of all greenhouse gases and has a significant impact on the global market.
Due to deforestation, the following are: hyperincrease, urbanization, globalization and climate. To clean up the land for construction and farming purposes trees are destroyed regularly. The trees are then used as a firewood.
In fact, in many other countries globalization has led to the deforestation due to the growing need of factories and industries, due to which emissions of carbon dioxide emitted; Thus our living environment and certainly live species affect very much. China and India are big examples of this phenomenon. China is a big market that manufactures and supplies many products around the world.
However, I would like to bring home this thing that trees should always be preserved and should never be cut because they not only provide us with various food products as well as medicinal substances, but also to absorb greenhouse gases such as carbon Dioxide also plays an important role in This is because the number of trees is declining, the presence of greenhouse gases in our environment is also increasing, due to which our earth temperature is increasing. Another worst effect on forest deforestation is the increasing number of droughts and floods. When the forests are cleaned then the normal flow of water is disrupted, resulting in unusual dry and flooding conditions.
Therefore, we should stop this attack on nature and others should strictly stop it from doing so; Some of the punishments should be followed for negligence. That's all I have to say!
3-Speech on Deforestation
To my respected Class Teacher and dear Friends – Warm Greetings to all of you!!
Deforestation is to remove forests at large levels by cutting plants or burning forests to meet the needs of the private level. Forests are very important for the management of natural equilibrium in the environment along with the entire human fraternity. However, human society and the environment are cutting trees regularly without seeing its side effects. Woods has historically been very important since ancient times and it is used for many purposes such as building fuel, building houses, production of ships, paper and many daily human activities. Forests are very important for us and our future generations, who enjoy a healthy and peaceful life and live a life free pollution-free environment.
4-Speech on Deforestation
Good Morning Ladies and Gentalmen !
Deforestation is the lack of one area forest cover. In 2000, world forest cover of 7000 million hectares has been reduced to 2400 million hectare.
It is estimated that about 40% of forest in the tropics has been destroyed as compared to 1% loss in the temperate regions.
In India, in the beginning of the 20th century, forest cover was about 30% of the total land. By the end of the century, it shrunk to 19.4%, where the National Forest Policy of India (1968) recommended 33% forest cover for the plains and 67% for the hills.
Slash and burn agriculture is commonly called zoom farming. In this process the farmers cut down trees in the forest and burn them. Ash is used as a fertilizer and land is used for agriculture. After the cultivation, this area is left for many years to allow its recovery. Farmers then move to other areas and repeat the process. Technically it is called shifting cultivation.
2. Hydroelectric projects:
Humans submerged dams, reservoirs and hydro projects to forest areas, leaving all plants and animals dead.
In the dry season a huge forest fire destroys large patch of forests.
4. Human establishment:
In order to feed the growing human population, there is an increasing demand for agricultural land to grow more food crops, which is done through cleaning the forest areas. Forest land is also used for the construction of more residential complexes and industrial townships.
5. Mountain and forest roads:
The construction of roads and railway tracks in mountainous forests leads to deforestation, landslides and soil erosion.
Under irrigation projects, canals made for irrigation destroy many forest areas and cultivable land.
The livestock population in India is around 500 million but the grazing area is only 13 million hectares. One hectare land supports only 6 livestock. Due to the remaining naturally grazing in the forests, planting is destroyed and soil compaction is destroyed. In the latter the water retention capacity decreases and increases. Eventually the vast forest area is destroyed.
8. Wood demand:
The need for timber for fuels, housing and paper industry is increasing, causing loss of several million hectares of forest area.
Effects of deforestation:
1. Increase in carbon dioxide concentrations in the environment.
2. Less precipitation, increased draft, fast heat and deforestation in cold winter
3. To expose the soil, it is exposed, dried and erased with air and water.
4. The availability of wood and fuel wood has decreased greatly. Forest products like resin tannins, gums, latex and lac can not be available.
5. Deforestation occurs due to erosion of soil and finally desertification is done, which is no use, fertile and fertile land of forests will change in the desert due to lack of rainfall and no flood.
6. Deforestation will lead to the loss of biodiversity and germplasm due to destructive effects in ecological balance.
Difference between deforestation and desertification:
- I This is to reduce or remove forest cover.
- ii. The amount of rainfall decreases.
- iii. The ability of temperature moderation decreases
- iv. This leads to soil erosion.
- v. Flooding occurs due to deforestation.
Forest land can be used in various forms such as crop land, industrial area, residential area etc.
- I It is converted into a dry desert area of moist and fertile land.
- ii. The amount of rainfall is much less than evaporation
- iii. The temperature is either high or low.
- iv. Desertification is a product of soil erosion.
- v. There is no flood.
- vi. Distorted land can not be used in any way.
1. Public awareness:
Public movements like Chipko movement, Tehri dam development, Maun valley movement etc. have created awareness among the common man to save the forest and save nature.
2. Social Forestry:
It is an attempt by people, people and people to increase green coverage through forestry. Plantation in schools and colleges through forest festival, tree plantation in the edges of the road, barren land, canal shore, public park and picnic spot etc.
It is a system for growing plants (forest trees) with agricultural crops.
- (i) Agricultural-Silvulture - Trees, crop plants, medicinal herbs, fruit plants are prepared together.
- (ii) Agricultural-Silvo-rustic practices - Trees, Crop, Grass and Sage are grown together,
- (iii) Silvo-rustic practices - forests, trees, grasslands have been taken together
- (iv) Socio-Agro-Silvulture - Coffee, rubber, paper pulp producing trees, crop plants and forest trees are grown together.
5-Speech on Deforestation
Good morning students - hope you're doing well!
Today, I am going to address a very relevant topic related to global warming, i.e. deforestation. Deforestation is a serious reality of the present time. It is the task of cutting trees and emptying the forest land and not filling them elsewhere. The process of deforestation usually occurs when a piece of land is converted into fields, farms or large construction houses. In addition, deforestation is also caused by the need for fuel or wood which leads to destruction of trees. When the deforestation occurs, not only the trees are destroyed, but the animals are homeless as their natural habitat, meaning that the forest is destroyed by humans. It also affects our climate and gives birth to global warming.
There are many reasons behind the deforestation, some of them know:
Deforestation, as mentioned above, is the task of cutting trees. When the population grows, people start to empty the forest land to build their homes and factories. Apart from this, land is also used for agricultural purposes. In turn, wood is used in the form of timber for the construction of buildings and apartments and the trees are burnt as burnable wood. To make cities big and impressive, forests are also destroyed, which means construction of pavement and roads. Other reasons are:
There is heavy fire in the forests, which results in massive destruction.
Slash and burning agriculture is generally defined as zum farming. This process involves the cutting of trees from the forests by the farmers so that they can be set on fire. In turn, ash is used as a fertilizer and land is used for farming purposes. After the cultivation, the ground is left bare for many years so that it can be recovered for further use. After this the farmers move into another piece of land and repeat the whole process. In technical terms, it is defined as shifting cultivation.
For hydro projects, reservoirs and man-made dam forest areas become submerged and all plants and animals are killed, which is an inhuman act.
The livestock population in our country is around 500 million; Although the area for grazing is just 13 million hectares. One hectare land is capable of supporting the demand of six livestock. The remaining area which is used for grazing, destroys planting and soil compaction. The latter influences and enhances water holding capacity. After all, a huge land of the forest is destroyed.
Whatever may be the reason, deforestation has a great effect on our environment and harms its ecological balance. Global warming increases and levels of pollution are also increasing on our health because when there are no trees to get into harmful gases and dust, it is bound to affect the living organisms. Therefore, prevent the trees from cutting around trees and encourage more trees to save the environment.
6-Speech on Deforestation
Good Morning Students – Hope you are doing well!
Destroying, cleaning or removing trees or forests, which is the permanent destruction of the forest for the use of land for anything else. Annual global global forest loss is about 6 to 12% contribution, which leads to increase in temperature and increase carbon dioxide. And you will be surprised to know that in every minute, about 36 football fields are cleaned. Deforestation is done because the world's population is increasing day by day and the land is not sufficient for the protection of humans, so they are cleaning the forest for shelter and urbanization and also to make a place for cattle farming. are doing. Deforestation increases climate change and temperature, so please stop cutting trees and start putting it as we can not avoid carbon dioxide and we need oxygen for life.
7-Speech on Deforestation
Respected Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and my dear students - Congratulations to all of you!
I heartily welcome everyone in Rajiv Gangwal, class XII (B), in this "Grow More Trees" campaign. Before I begin with my speech on the issue of deforestation, I want to thank our Honorable Principles, Vice President's Principles and teachers for running this campaign and lend all our support for its successful execution. . I want to thank my fellow students for being so active and cooperative all the time.
Since our campaign is about growing more trees and protecting our environment, as an organizer of this campaign, I consider it extremely important to address the topic of deforestation. Deforestation, as well as everyone, is about cleaning the trees and forest land which is extremely destructive for our environment. This would be a completely nonsense practice if we go to growing trees on one side and cut them on the other side. In order to make this campaign a success, we first need to stop this kind of heinous activity and prevent men from destroying our nature.
In many cases, many trees are being cut and forests are destroyed for the sake of human beings. But do we also feel how important forests are for all of us? Let's understand how the forest is beneficial for us:
- Soil farming
- Regulation of water cycle
- Prevention of Soil Eradication
- Making a balance in the environment
- Giving us oxygen
- Natural habitat to animals
- Keeping an inquiry at the level of carbon dioxide and oxygen
- Regulation of temperature
- Tree Disease Prevention
The forests are often preserved as they provide protection from natural disasters. When forest areas are destroyed, soils are also damaged and this process is called soil erosion. Trees also play an important role in the carbon sequence. When trees are decayed or burnt, then the carbon present in them goes back to the atmosphere in the form of gaseous form, i.e. carbon dioxide. As we all know that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, the deforestation process leads to global warming. Sadly, this is tropical deforestation which contributes about 20% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions.
If we want to contribute to our environment and want to preserve it for our next generation, then collective efforts will be required. Of course, any illegal or unethical activity should be prevented from happening, which means not to cut down trees and clean the forest land. Trees help to maintain living beings on this earth, we get not only vegetables, fruits, herbs and medicinal extracts from plants and trees, but also to get air and oxygen to breathe, which can be found in human existence Is very important for.
So let's take a pledge in this campaign that we will plant more trees in our vicinity and also help in preserving our natural wealth. I invite suggestions from all the people present here and share my thoughts on this and make this campaign a success.
