1- The biggest road bridge - Mahatma Gandhi Setu - Patna

Mahatma Gandhi bridge is the world's longest road bridge on the same river. Its length is 5,575 (approx) meters.

2- The largest cattle fair - Sonpur - Bihar

Sonpur Mela is the Sonpur of Bihar and the largest cattle fair in Asia. This fair is also known as 'Hariharakshat Mela'

3- Largest lake - (Wular Lake) - Jammu Kashmir

Wular lake is India's largest freshwater lake. Wullar Lake is located in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir state.

4- The largest desert - Thar - Rajasthan

The Thar Desert is located in the northwest of India and in the southeast of Pakistan. Apart from Rajasthan, it also spreads in Sindh and Punjab provinces of Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat and Pakistan.

5- The largest cave temple - Kailash Temple - Ellora

Kailash Temple is located in the famous 'Caves of Ellora' located in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. The beauty of this temple is that it is made of stone rock.

6- Largest zoo - Zoological Garden - Kolkata

Zoologic Garden It is also known as Alipur zoo or Kolkata zoo. It is Kolkata's premier tourist destination. Its area is 19 square hectares

7- The largest mosque - Jama Masjid - Delhi

Construction of the Jama Masjid In 1656, this mosque was constructed by Shah Jahan, measuring 65 meters long and 35 meters wide, it has a space of 100 square meters in its courtyard.

8- The largest delta - Sundarbans delta - West Bengal

The Sunderbans delta is also known as Sunderbone, it is the largest river delta in India and Bangladesh.

Rameswaram is the world's largest corridor. This temple is made up of about 6 hectares.

Gol Gumbaz is the tomb of Sultan Muhammad Adil Shah of Bijapur and is located in Karnataka. It was built by Persian architect Dabul's Yakut in 1656 AD.

महात्मा गांधी सेतु एक ही नदी पर बना दुनिया का सबसे लम्बा सड़क पुल है। इसकी लम्बाई 5,575 (लगभग) मीटर है। 

2- सबसे बड़ा पशुओं का मेला (The largest cattle fair) - सोनपुर (Sonpur) - बिहार

सोनपुर मेला बिहार के सोनपुर का तथा एशिया का सबसे बड़ा पशुओंं  à¤®à¥‡à¤²à¤¾ हैं। इस मेले को 'हरिहरक्षेत्र मेला' के नाम से भी जाना जाता है

3- सबसे बड़ी झील (Largest lake) -  (Wular Lake) - जम्मू कश्मीर 

वुलर झील भारत की मीठे पानी की सबसे बड़ी झील है। वुलर झील जम्मू व कश्मीर राज्य के बांडीपोरा ज़िले में स्थित है। 

4- सबसे बड़ा रेगिस्तान (The largest desert) - थार (Thar) - राजस्थान

थार मरुस्थल भारत के उत्तरपश्चिम में तथा पाकिस्तान के दक्षिणपूर्व में स्थितहै। यह राजस्थान  à¤•à¥‡ अलावा हरियाणा, पंजाब,गुजरात और पाकिस्तान के सिंध और पंजाब प्रांतों में भी फैला है।

5- सबसे बड़ा गुफा मन्दिर (The largest cave temple) - कैलाश मन्दिर (Kailash Temple) - एलोरा

कैलाश मन्दिर महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद ज़िले में स्थित प्रसिद्ध 'एलोरा की गुफ़ाओं' में स्थित है। इस मंदिर की विषेशता यह है कि यह पत्थर की शिला से ही बना हुआ है।

6- सबसे बड़ा चिडियाघर (The largest zoo) - जूलोजिक गार्डन(Zoological Garden) - कोलकाता

जूलोजिक गार्डन इसे अलीपुर चिडियाघर या कोलकाता चिडियाघर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है  à¤¯à¤¹ कोलकाता का प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल है। इसका क्षेत्रफ़ल 19 वर्ग हेक्टेयर है

7- सबसे बड़ी मस्जिद (The largest mosque) - जामा मस्जिद (Jama Masjid) - दिल्ली

जामा मस्जिद का निर्माण 1656 में शाहजहां द्धारा करवाया गया इस मस्जिद का माप 65 मीटर लम्बा और 35 मीटर चौड़ा है, इसके आंगन में 100 वर्ग मीटर का स्थान है।

8- सबसे बड़ा डेल्टा (The largest delta) - सुन्दरवन डेल्टा (Sundarbans delta) - प0 बंगाल

सुंदरवन के डेल्टा को  à¤¸à¥à¤‚दरबोन के नाम से भी जाना जाता है यह भारत तथा  à¤¬à¤¾à¤‚ग्लादेश में à¤¸à¤¬à¤¸à¥‡ बड़ा नदी डेल्टा है।

9- सबसे बड़ा कोरीडोर(The big corridor) - रामेश्वरम मंदिर(Rameshwaram Temple) - तमिलनाडु

रामेश्वरम विश्व का सबसे बडा कोरीडोर à¤¹à¥ˆà¥¤ यह मंदिर लगभग 6 हेक्टेयर में बना हुआ है।

10- सबसे बड़ा अजायबघर (The largest museum) - अजायबघर(Museum) - कोलकाता

कोलकाता अजायबघर की स्थापना 1814 में की गयी यह सबसे पुराने और सबसे बडे अजायबघरों मे से एक है इस अजायबघर में 102,646 कलाकृतियों का एक संग्रह है।

11- सबसे बड़ा गुम्बज (The largest dome) - गोल गुम्बज (Gol Gumbaz) - बीजापुर

गोल गुम्बज़ बीजापुर के सुल्तान मुहम्मद आदिल शाह का मकबरा है तथा कर्णाटक में स्थित है। इसको फ़ारसी वास्तुकार दाबुल के याकूत ने 1656 ई० में निर्माण करवाया था।

12- सबसे बड़ा लीवर पुल (The biggest lever bridge) - हाबड़ा ब्रिज (Habra Bridge) - कोलकाता

रवीन्द्र सेतु(हावड़ा सेतु) का निर्माण 1939 में शुरू हुआ और यह 1943 में जनता के लिए खोला गया था। 

13- सबसे विशाल स्टेडियम (The huge stadium ) - युवा भारती साल्ट लेक (Young Indian Salt Lake) - कोलकाता

युवा भारती साल्ट लेक à¤•à¥‹à¤²à¤•à¤¾à¤¤à¤¾ का एक प्रमुख खेल का मैदान हैं। यहा फुटबॉल खेला जाता हैं।

14- सबसे बड़ा प्राकृतिक बन्दरगाह (The largest natural harbor) - मुम्बई (Mumbai) - महाराष्ट्र

मुम्बई बन्दरगाह भारतवर्ष का सर्वश्रेष्ठ बन्दरगाह है। मुम्बई का तट कटा-फटा है जिसके कारण इसका पोताश्रय प्राकृतिक एवं सुरक्षित है। 

15- खारे पानी की सबसे बडी तटीय झील (The largest coastal saltwater lake) - चिल्‍का झील (Chilka Lake) - ओडिशा

चिल्का  à¤à¥€à¤² भारत में सबसे बड़े तटीय लैगून के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। इसे दुनिया की दूसरी सबसे बड़ी झील होने का गौरव हासिल है। 

16- मीठे पानी की सबसे बडी झील (The largest freshwater lake) - वुलर झील (Wullar Lake) - जम्‍मू कश्‍मीर

वुलर झील जम्मू व कश्मीर राज्य के बांडीपोरा ज़िले में स्थित एक झील है। यह भारत की मीठे पानी की सबसे बड़ी झील है।

17- सबसे बडा गुरूद्धारा (The greatest Guruddhara) - स्‍वर्ण मन्दिर (Golden Temple) - अमृतसर

स्वर्ण मंदिर सिखों का सबसे पवित्र स्थल है। यह हरमंदिर साहिब के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह देश का एक प्रमुख तीर्थस्थल है

18- सबसे बडा गिरजाघर (The big cathedral) - सैंट कैथेडरल (SAINT Cathedral) - गोवा

कैथेड्रल ऑफ सेंटा कैटरीना भारत का सबसे बड़ा चर्च है।ओल्ड गोवा में स्थित बासिलिका बोन जीजस चर्च, सेंट फ्रांसिस जेवियर को समर्पित है

19- सबसे बडा टी0वी0 टावर (The largest tower TV) - पीतमपुरा (Pitampura) - नई दिल्‍ली

पीतमपुरा टी0वी0 टॉवर 1988 स्थापित किया गया यह  à¤Ÿà¥€à¤µà¥€ टावर 235 मीटर (771 फीट) की ऊंचाई का है

20- सबसे बडी क्रञिम झील (Krtrim largest lake) - गोविन्‍द सागर (Govind Sagar) - भाखडा नांगल

गोविन्द सागर झील मानव-निर्मित पहली झील है। इसको सिखों के दशवे गुरु गोविन्द सिंह के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।

21- सबसे बडी नदी घाटी (The largest river basin) - भागीरथी व अलकनन्‍दा (Bhagirathi and Alaknanda) - हिमाचल प्रदेश

यह अलकनंदा तथा भागीरथी नदियों के संगम पर स्थित है। इसी संगम स्थल के बाद इस नदी को पहली बार 'गंगा' के नाम से जाना जाता है। यहाँ श्री रघुनाथ जी का मंदिर है

22- सबसे बडा नदी द्धीप (Ddhip largest river) - माजुली (Majuli) - ब्रहमपुञ नदी, असम

माजुली असम के ब्रह्मपुत्र नदी के मध्य में बसा एक बड़ा नदी द्वीप है। इसका कुल क्षेत्रफल 1853 ई में 1246 वर्ग किमी है 

23- सबसे बडा तारा मण्‍डल (The biggest star system) - बिडला प्‍लैनेटोरियम (Birla Planetoriam) - कोलकाता

बिड़ला तारामंडल देश का पहला तारामंडल है। इसका शुभारंभ 1985 में किया था। यहां आपको ब्रह्मांड से जुड़ी कई रोचक बातें पता चलेंगी।

यह लगभग 23,300 वर्ग कि॰मी॰ क्षेत्रफल में फैला हुआ है । यह समुद्र का ही एक सँकरा अंग है यह  à¤à¤• नमकीन दलदल का वीरान प्रदेश है
