Pherozeshah Mehta was a Parsi Indian political leader, activist and lawyer of Mumbai India. Who fought with the British government in their ways. We can understand the importance of his Indian history in such a way that many leaders of history used to take legal advice from him and he used to follow the policies of Ferozeshah Mehta and used to wash the British officers. Firoz Shah Mehta ji did not fight directly with the British, but he used to sweep the British with legal claims.

In 1873, he became the municipal commissioner of the Bombay Municipal Corporation, as well as the president in 1884, 1885, 1905 and 1911. In 1890, he was also elected as the President of the Indian National Congress.

Early life of Firoz Shah Mehta -

Ferozeshah Mehvani Mehta was born on August 4, 1845, in the Parsi business family in Bombay (Mumbai). Mehta graduated from Elphinstone College and in 1864, he graduated from M.A. Passed the examination, and with this respect 6 months later, he became the first person to receive master's degree from the University of Mumbai from the Parsi family. He later went to England to study law, where he received education at Lincoln Inn in London.

In 1868, he returned to India and he also started training for his lawyer where he always dominated British lawyers.

During the legal training of Arthur Crawford, he resolved to rebuild the municipality of Bombay, and even put forward his proposal. And on seeing this, he passed the Municipal Corporation Act 1872, and since then he is known as the father of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

And in the end, he had to leave training of his lawyer suddenly to join politics.

Sir Ferozshah Mehta was one of the great revolutionaries of history. They can also give a big bang to the big British officer from their legal claims. Because of his legal knowledge, he helped many politicians at that time and rescued them from the British authorities. Despite British rule, many British officers were afraid of Sir Mehta at the time.

In 1868, he became a lawyer in the Bombay High Court.

In 1872 he became a member of the Bombay Municipal Corporation. Three times he also became president. His 38 years had been dominated by the Bombay Municipal Corporation.

He founded the Bombay Presidency Association in 1885. He is his secretary.

In 1886 he became a member of the Bombay Legislative Council.

In 1889 Bombay University became a member of the Senate, and was also the President of the Indian National Congress's welcome committee in Bombay.

He was at the chairmanship of the Indian National Congress of 1890 (Calcutta) and 1909 (Lahore).

In 1892, the fifth Bombay province was held at the presidency of Samenlan.

In 1911, he had significant contribution in establishing 'Central Back of India'.

He published the newspaper 'The Bombay Chronicle' in 1913.

Firoz Shah Mehta continued his struggle for freedom through constitutional methods, his contribution is still remembered, he died on November 5, 1915.
