The Cooch Behar Palace, also known as Victor Jubilee Palace, is located in the town of Cooch Behar in West Bengal. It was constructed in 1887 during the reign of Maharaja Nripendra Narayan.

Cooch Behar Palace is known for its magnificence. It is a brick-built double-storey structure covering an area of ​​51,309 sq ft in West Bengal.

The entire structure is 395 feet long and 296 feet wide and is located above 4 feet 9 in (1.45 meters) above the ground.

The castle and room have various halls, including dressing room, bedroom, dining hall, billiard hall, library, and bath room.

Cooch Behar Palace was originally designed by Koch King Maharaja Nripendra Narayan. This majestic building is a masterpiece of magnificent architecture exhibiting the rich performance of the royal age.

The ground floor of the castle is decorated with a curved porch. There is a durbar hall which has entered through an extended verandah.

The museum

A part of the palace has now been converted into a museum where a great time art can see the objects.

The museum includes oil paintings, chandeliers, terracotta sculptures, cow-clay models such as bulls, arrows, sepia-tinted photographs, and hoe and sandstone and layla sculptures. There is also a tribal gallery which mainly reflects the everyday life of the local people.
