Trees and plants attract the clouds in the sky and force them to rain. Where trees are less then there is less rainfall and greening depends on rain.

The roots of the trees go deeper into the ground and the clay remains clogged in the flow of rain. Where there is no tree, the fertile layer above the ground goes into the river and drains into the rain. In the absence of trees and plants, the flat water of the water flows rapidly and goes to the river basins, so that the land can not absorb it in sufficient quantity.

There is no soil erosion due to grass. The reed, from which we get sugar and jaggery, is also a type of grass. All the animals from which we get milk, ghee, meat, and leather etc., mainly depend on the grass.

For firewood, we depend on trees and plants. Today the problem of fuel has become complicated. Environmentalists believe that 33 percent of the area of total land area should be covered with tree-planting for environmental-balance. Today, due to lack of its lack, water has decreased. The entire production of crops is not achieved. With the expansion of agriculture, we should run a movement to expand the trees and plants.
