Speech on Respect - 1

Respected principals, teachers and my dear students!

First of all, thanks for being a part of this celebration. We have gathered here to celebrate our school day and every year. We will try to make this festival the most memorable for all of you.

I would like to thank the organizers for giving me the opportunity to host the program. As you all know, our school is highly recognized on the international stage and it is one of the top 10 schools in the state. Students who graduate from our school take admission in popular colleges and universities and work on very good positions in highly recognized organizations.

Our students' intellect and general knowledge are highly appreciated. I also urge every student of this school to earn respect for others. As you all know, respect is an encouraging feeling of praise for a person or organization. It shows the respect and compassion shown by one person to others. It is very important that we work to bring goodwill in society in respect of each other and always remember that respect is not sought but earned and respect is earned through our great deeds and actions.

Where it is important that we respect everyone who meets our life, it is equally important that we follow such actions that can help us in achieving respect. A person who earns property through activities of his own business, office, home or society, is respected in the first place.

It is important that parents will teach their children to respect their aged grandparents, teachers, their friends, friends and all those living around them, then we will be able to build a positive society. Nowadays people get angry at small things and get involved in disputes, which sometimes gets violent. If children are taught to forgive the negligent cases and honor the people around them, then the children will be happy and live happily.

It is also important for all of us to respect our environment. We should be careful not to throw garbage in public places such as roads, parks, pavement etc. The children see what they learn. Thus good habits should be taken into account by the relatives of their respective parents and children.

I would also like to focus on 'respect for culture'. I understand that the world is getting global and all countries are interacting with each other with art, talent, culture and traditions. But this does not allow anyone to insult our Indian culture. Indian culture is the oldest and the best in the world. Today's children are the future of our nation and thus they should ensure that people around the world respect India.

There is no specific definition of the word 'respect' and there is no such formula that will help you respect others. We respect those whom we love but sometimes we have to meet people who in turn should show respect without expecting anything. For example, if you are sitting while traveling in a public transport and a handicapped person comes to you, then you should respect him and provide his seat to that person.

Such small tasks will help you to get great respect in the society. Apart from this, if you start respecting yourself, it will always help you to move your life positively.

Thanks so much for listening to me so patiently. I wish you all a good future!

Thank you.

Speech on Respect - 2

I welcome all of you in the 'Respect for First Honor' program. First of all thank you very much for organizers and supporters. This is not possible without your support.

As you all know, our organization is a charity organization and we work for those elderly people who are homeless or whose family has been neglected or pulled out of the family. I have been associated since the establishment of this organization for the last 10 years i.e. In these 10 years, the cases I have seen the most are related to senior citizens rejected by their own sons and family. It looks strange in a country like India where we talk about maintaining our culture, traditions, religion and ethnicity.

We share many messages and sayings on Parents Day, Father's Day or Mother's Day but in reality, we lack basic ethics and responsibility. Respecting your parents is not a duty or obligation but it is our religion. Apart from bringing us into this world our parents have done a lot for us. They fulfill every need of their children and struggle everyday to bring a smile to our face, but when they become old and need our most, we become so busy with ourselves that we Can not take out time and this is the reason why there are so many old age homes all over the world.

My father always says that young people of earlier times had great respect for senior people. In those days, the youth did not sit in front of their elders, did not smoke or drink. Unfortunately, the culture and consciousness of respecting each other is rapidly disappearing in our society at the present time.

In the name of privacy, we are engaged in small activities like smoking, drunkenness, drinking etc. In the name of freedom, we live outside the whole night and do not think it necessary to inform our elders, leave food and keep the whole day disappear. This is all because we have lost our sense of responsibility. We are becoming more and more impatient and have made a wall around our own. If our elders try to break that wall then we lose our patience and behave in disqualification like shouting and throwing objects etc.

I will also show the role of social media towards this change. It is not that I am blaming social media for people but the truth is that most people who use social media have become 'not disturbed me'. Most people who come home from the office in the evening, rather than spend time with their family, prefer to see their instant chat messaging and profile of friends on social media. Gradually, it is becoming a tradition of almost every household and today's children are growing in this environment. When such children grow up, they respect the virtual people but ignore the real people.

We will not be able to respect others if we do not develop a sense of love and responsibility towards others. Respecting others is not a special thing that you will do with someone. In fact you should respect others to get respect. The sooner we feel it would be better.

Thank you.

Speech on Respect - 3

Respected Principal, Honorable teachers and my dear friends! Good Morning.

First of all, I would like to welcome all of you to this inspirational program and thank all the team members who have helped each other in organizing this event. I am from Vaani XII class and I have had the privilege of hosting this event. Today this program has been specially organized for students and their parents. This program is based on the importance of respect in our lives. For today's program, students have prepared sports, speeches and many more activities. Therefore, before the start of their performance, I want to give a speech on the honor at the beginning of the program.

As we all know that all the money in today's world is running behind. Everyone knows that money plays an important role in meeting our needs but money is also a way to create a good image in society and a good image is a way of gaining respect among people. That is why we can say that respect is a main objective that most people want to get in their entire life but we can not consider money as the only means of receiving respect because our behavior and how we deal with other people Tells us about relationships.

Almost all people in the world want to get respect. If we want to achieve respect then it is very important that we also respect other people. To get respect, one should understand that he should not ask everyone for respect, but earn it because respect can be earned only. Someone can do good by doing good work or receiving respect from such activities, which will create respect for him in the other mind.

If we are talking about respect then there are some important people in our lives who we respect such as our esteemed parents, grandparents, teachers etc. These people have an important place in our life and heart. They are the most respected person in our lives.

In spite of all these respected people in our lives, there are some people whose inspirational lives and good deeds cause us to respect them. Yes! I am talking about our respected soldiers and police because these are the main reasons for our country to maintain independence and integrity. They are endangering their lives to save our lives. Protecting a big country like us is not really easy task. The reason behind protecting the entire country is the biggest reason behind their respect.

With this, I want to end my speech and give special thanks to our Honorable Principal Madam and wish to congratulate teachers and all the parents also by joining this event and supporting us and making a success. I would like to thank the members of my team who organized this program with unity.

Thank you. Good day to you all.

Speech on Respect - 4

Honorable Principal, Hon'ble Manager, Sir and Professors and my dear friends!

Today our college has organized a debate competition for all students. I am Wanika and I am very happy to have the opportunity to host this competition. This debate competition has been specially organized for students so that they can help them win over their hesitation and fear. Today's debate is the subject of competition 'honor can only be achieved'. As we know that a team has to speak in support of this and others will speak against it but before proceeding, I want to say a few words about respect.

As everyone knows that respect is something that almost everyone wants. Everybody should know that the important thing is that if we want respect then we have to respect others. Every person in this world receives respect on the basis of his deeds. If a person's behavior is good or his mood is helpful then he automatically forces others to respect him.

As we know there are some important people in our life who should respect us. Yes I am talking about my parents, teachers, grandparents and many other dignitaries. They are such people who teach us how to respect and how to get respect. We respect our parents because they are the cause of our existence in this world and they make every possible conflict to keep us happy. Grandparents also play an important role in our lives. They are known as the most respected people in the house. Most grandparents take care of their grandchildren Most children are more connected with their grandparents during childhood but unfortunately, most parents and grandparents are neglected by their children or grandchildren and they have to live their life in old age. This is one of the most painful behaviors of children who ignore them when they need help from their parents and grandparents. Instead of getting respect from their children, they are being ignored and they have to live in old age.

Teachers are also an important place for all these respected people in our lives. A teacher shows the right path to his students who inspires students for success. It is impossible to achieve success without guidance, and there is no bigger guide than teacher in this world. A good teacher makes the best effort to brighten the future of his student, but after a bright future, most students forget to thank their teachers. Nobody should ever forget his parents, teachers and every person who has received support every moment.

Therefore, if we really want to get respect, firstly we will have to honor parents, teachers and other people including elders, especially our elderly.

With this I would like to end my speech and would like to thank the Principal Madam who gave me the opportunity to keep my thoughts in front of everyone on this forum.

Thank you.
