What is SSC 10 + 2 exams

Staff Selection Commission organizes SSC 10 + 2 Examination for the posts of Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator every year. From year 2018, SSC has included posts for postal / retrenchment assistant under the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination-2012. Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 are eligible to participate in this examination. As the name suggests in the SSC 10 + 2 exam, it is an examination for the difficulty level of class 12th. But in recent times competition becomes difficult because millions of candidates apply for this exam. Even those candidates who have graduated and postgraduate, also participate in this examination, this factor also increases the level of examination. Examination process: -

The SSC LDC and DEO exam selection process is quite simple. The first stage is an all-India written examination (Tier 1, Tier 2) and the second phase is a typing test. Candidates have to pass in each stage to crack the nuts of SSC 10 + 2 exam. Candidates will have to make marks and focused preparation for this examination.

SSC CHSL 2018 Tier-I Examination: -

Tier-I exam covers 200 marks and the total time duration for this exam is 60 minutes.

  • There will be a total of 25 questions (100 questions in total): - (i) General Intelligence and Reasoning (ii) English Language (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) General Awareness. Every question is of 2 marks.
  • Each part has the same importance, so candidates must concentrate on each part of this examination.
  • It should be noted by the candidates that this examination has a negative mark of 0.50 points. Therefore, the scheme of examination is according to pattern and course of SSC.
  • Please note that there is no sectional cut off for the CHSL 2018 exam.

Exam Syllabus : SSC Syllabus is as follows :

General Intelligence: - It will include both oral and non-verbal questions. The test will include questions related to semantic analogy, symbolic operations, symbolic / number analogy, trends, graphical analogy, space orientation, semantically classification, vane diagram, number / number classification, drawing context, illustration classification, perforated hole / pattern-folding and disclosure. . , Semantic series, figural pattern - folding and compliance, number series, embedded images, figurous series, critical thinking, problem solving, emotional intelligence, word building, social intelligence, coding and de-coding, other sub-topics, if any numerical operations .

Quantitative Ability (Arithmetic): - The following topics will be asked questions: -

Number system: Calculation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers.

Fundamental arithmetic operations: percentage, ratio and ratio, square root, profit, interest (simple and compound), profit and loss, discount, partnership business, mix and charge, time and distance, time and work.

Algebra: The basic algebraic identities of school algebra and graphs of basic frequencies (simple problems) and linear equations

Geometry: familiar with primary geometric figures and facts: Triangle and its various types of centers, triangles, parallels and similarities, circles and its chord, tangent, angle formed by the chord of a circle, for two or more circles Mango.

General Awareness: - The questions are designed to test the general awareness of the candidate about the environment for him and his society. The questions are designed to test the everyday knowledge and experience of the experiences of the present incidents and their scientific aspects, which can be expected from an educated person. The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially in relation to history, culture, geography, economic view, general policy and scientific research.

Tier – II Descriptive Test Pattern: The Exam Pattern of Tier II Descriptive Test is as Provided Below:

  • Descriptive test will be of Total 100 Marks.
  • The duration of the paper would be for one hour.
  • Descriptive Test will be taken in Pen & Paper Mode.

Tier – III Examination (Skill Test/ Typing Test) :-

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator

8,000 (eight thousand) data entry speed per hour on computer. For the post of Data Entry Operator in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C & AG) of India: - Detection of speed test of important sediments less than 15000 per hour for data entry work on computer, through speed test

  • The speed of the text path given in 10 minutes will be fixed on the accuracy of typing on the computer. VH / OH (Suffer by Cerebral Palsy) and OH writing will be allowed 30 minutes with deformity in hand writing (with 40% disability and above) 20 minutes of compensatory time.

Strategy for SSC CHSL 2017 Tier 1 Online Examination
