History of the National Zerky Day

The National Zerky Day was created by Jack Link in the year 2012. Since then it is celebrated every year on June 12. Jerky is a lean meat that is dried with extra salts to prevent attacking the meat. The Zeraki is derived from the Spanish word "Charquee", which means burning the flesh. Jetties lose weight and have high levels of nutrition. Since 1996, Jerky has been selected as Space Food by astronauts during her space travel.

Nutritious meat is made light while drying. If the pound of meat is dry, weigh less than four ounces and will be made in JERKY. Junky can be stored and preserved for several days without refrigerators because moisture is completely removed. Jarkis are available in nearby stores, supermarkets and various shops everywhere. In Tamil Nadu of India, jerky is called as Kundam, which is part of their traditional non-veg diet. In Ethiopia, jerky is called quanta.
