1 - Essay on Postman - 200 Words

A postman is a community assistant. He is important for the society as a member of other community assistants, such as doctors, teachers, policemen and sellers. It helps in connecting people by conveying their messages to each other.

A postman wears Khaki uniforms and keeps a bag full of letters on his shoulder. He travels on the streets riding on a bicycle to get letters to different addresses. He needs to ensure that every letter arrives at the correct address. He also needs to ensure that the letters are distributed on time. Many people subscribe to magazines and newspapers. They also send the postman. If he does not like his duty, he is reprimanded.

Postman's profession is very difficult. He faces many difficulties, like riding a bicycle regardless of the weather throughout the day. Whether it is rains, air or sunshine, a postman can not take leave. To distribute the letters, it needs to be out on your cycle so that people do not miss any important message. It can be physically tough enough. However, he does his work with dedication. By the evening it has to report to the post office. They are allowed to go home only after the postmaster's acceptance.

Despite hard work, a postman is not well paid. I wish the Government increases the allowance of the postmen.

2 - Essay on Postman - 300 Words

In ancient times, people rely on pigeons to give message to their loved ones living in pigeon land. However, as things changed, a more reliable medium was replaced by them. The post office came into existence and posters were hired to give important letters, parcels and documents.

Importance of postman in earlier times

A postman was one of the most important community assistants of the time when there was no phone. People communicated with their relatives and friends who were through handwritten letters living in far-flung areas which were distributed by postmen.

Since banks were not easily accessible and there were no ATMs, people often used to send money orders. Gifts and other important parcels were also sent through the post. In the case a telegram was sent to send an immediate message. The postman's role was thus a great responsibility in the past.

People rely on money and important messages and things to get them. They waited anxiously every day with the postman.

Importance of postman in modern times

It would not be wrong to say that due to the arrival of phone and email the postman's importance has diminished to some extent. People send instant messages or emails to send messages instead of writing each other long letters. They no longer have to wait for days to listen to each other.

They can make calls or text to business partners, as well as to their loved ones and join them immediately. All banking transactions, including transfer of money and obtaining documents, are also made online. People hardly send money orders these days.

However, getting a handwritten letter is still a great feeling. The importance of the postman may have diminished over time, but he is still an essential part of our community. He still distributes many important positions such as university results, entry letters, weekly / monthly magazines, and the like.

Conclusion

Although we have now moved to electronic means of communication, however, the role of a postman is still important. It is good to see that most postmen fulfill their duties with honesty and dedication.

3 - Essay on Postman - 400 Words

We live in a residential community in a metropolitan city. The view of a postman here is very rare. The postman usually sends the letters to the Society's gate, and from here we pick them up. I get to see only one postman when I visit my grandparents during my summer vacation. They live in a beautiful village of North India. Postman is one of the few people who are eagerly waiting for the people of the village. We also wait for him to come every day.

Happiness of receiving letter

The villages environment is quite different from the cities. Children appear throughout the day playing together in the neighborhood. In the afternoon and evening, elderly people also gather to chit chat. Me and my brother-in-law also play and run in the village area. The joy of playing around children increases especially when they see the postman coming in. They run after chasing him behind his bicycle, greet him and move away from pride.

Everyone is eager to know if they have received any letter or any other article. It's like getting a precious gift. In the nearby people, the postman is equally happy. It stops at the addresses where the letters are to be distributed. People living in villages are very polite. They offer water to him. Some of them even give sweets on special occasions.

There is no bank or ATM in our village. The nearest one is approximately 10 km away. It is difficult to withdraw money transferred to the bank. This is the reason that money orders are quite common here. People like to receive their payments through money orders. Many children also send money orders to their parents living in the village so that they can easily purchase the goods. The postman understands the importance of money orders. He delivers them carefully to the related recipients.

The postman reads the letters

Many people in the village do not know how to read. Therefore, in addition to distributing letters, the postman also takes villagers as their responsibility to read the letter. He does this job happily. She sits down and patiently tells the message to the people in the letter. In the case, there is some good news, people reward the postman for expressing and sharing their happiness.

Conclusion

The relationship between the villagers and the postman is really strong. It is to see the postman ride through the village. We miss it in the city.

4 - Essay on Postman - 500 Words

A postman is a government employee. She is employed to distribute letters, money orders and other postal articles to the people. He spends on the bicycle all day to complete the task assigned to him. The profession of a postman is not easy. He needs to face many challenges.

Khaki uniform

A postman wears Khaki uniforms. She wears a matching cap and carries a bag full of letters on her shoulder. The bags also contain some other items like cards, money orders and magazines that need to be delivered at different addresses. The uniform of a postman separates them from the rest of the population. The uniform of a postman helps us identify him from far away.

Old cycle

A postman runs cycles in today's time. People have upgraded the bicycles to scooter cars. However, the postman has still been given the bicycle. They wander on this environmentally friendly vehicle all day to distribute letters and other important documents to the people.

Many people argue that their vehicles should also be upgraded. However, other people support this old way of coming and going. It may take time for the posters to reach bicycles from one place to another. However, there are many benefits too. One of the main benefits is that a postman does not have to worry about traffic jams.

The role of a postman is of great responsibility. It must ensure timely delivery of letters. Running a car, scooter or tempo can hinder their work as it will be difficult to avoid traffic for them. In addition, the chakras are good for the environment. They do not cause pollution, unlike cars and bikes. Apart from this, the postman is healthy and fit by riding a bicycle.

Postmen are usually seen riding an old bicycle which has become an integral part of their identity.

A hard work

Postman's work is not easy. He has to report every morning to the post office. He collects all the letters from the post office and then determines to distribute them in the assigned area. Letters need to be distributed at different addresses. To accomplish his work till the evening, he has to find the best possible routes based on the addresses that he needs to travel.

He needs to ensure that the letters reach people on time so that they do not miss any important message. A postman can not miss any delivery nor can he tell a letter wrong because he can be questioned for loss or delayed delivery. He can be punished in such cases. He may lose his job or a part of his salary in the event.

In the evening, the postman needs to report to the post office again. In the case, any job is left incomplete, it needs to be completed before going home.

It is tragic, even though a postman works hard all day long, but he is not well paid by the government.

Conclusion

The service provided by the postman is essential for the society. To make our work with dedication we should be grateful for these professionals.

5 - Essay on Postman - 600 Words

From my early childhood years, I remember a person who regularly meets us. He comes home many times in the week and becomes part of our family. He is our postman, king. While many postmen are transferred to a different area every few years, the King has been delivering letters to the region around us for a long time. It has been for many years.

My grandfather await postman keen

While most of us have switched from writing a quick email or a letter to send a message, my grandmother still likes the old way of writing the letter. He and his siblings regularly exchange handwritten papers to stay in touch with each other. I often go with him to buy inland letters, envelopes and tickets in the post office. He also assigns me the letter of lettering in the nearest letterbox. We then wait for their reply. My grandmother eagerly waits every day for our postman, the king and so I

Apart from the letters of my grandmother's siblings, we often receive letters from banks and some other institutions. The King knows that my grandmother eagerly waits for the letters of his loved ones. When she brings letters to my grandmother, she happily bikes the bicycle.

Just as my grandmother enjoys receiving these letters, the King is happy to distribute them. Occasionally, his brother sends him gifts. It does not matter how small the gift is, the joy of receiving a surprise parcel is simply unmatched. The King ensures that the parcel is carefully placed in his bag to avoid any kind of breakdown. She happily entrusts it to my grandmother who is thrilled to get it.

On the other hand, my grandfather waits for the stock market and the bank's letters. While my father does all the banking transactions online and receive notifications on their mobile or email, my grandfather still likes the old way of dealing with such institutions. Therefore, he also waits for the king every day. He relies solely on the King and instead of going to the bank, he often opposes receiving the most important and confidential documents through the post.

My Pen Friend

I like this old way of getting in touch. To experience the pleasure of receiving the letter, I recently made a pen friend. In this age of mobile phone and chatting app, it seems quite old-fashioned and worldly. But I really wanted to experience it and it really is great. I write this friend regularly and receiving a letter from him is exciting. He also sent me a beautiful birthday card which came as a pleasant surprise.

Our postman; Our friends

We are lucky that the King has been assigned our area because he is a very honest professional. He does his work with sincerity and dedication. Many of our relatives complain of missing letters and gifts. This is due to the negligence of the postman in their area. In connection with this, they go to the post office to register a complaint.

However, missing / lost parcels and letters are rarely found. Thankfully we never encountered such a problem. This is because the King is completely professional. She understands the importance of distribution of letters and other postal articles on time and ensures that no one misses an important message.

It would not be wrong to call the King a true friend. On festivals and other special occasions such as birthdays, we give dessert and juice to the king because he comes to our house. My mother gave them a pack of some cash and sweets for her family. We have been following this custom for years.

Conclusion

Our postmen, the monarch are always on time in spite of the outside weather. He works tirelessly and always smiles on his face. His honesty and dedication motivate me to work hard.
