What are the qualifications required for the appointment of the High Court Judges?

A person to be appointed as judge of High Court must possess these qualifications: (i) He must be a citizen of India; (ii) He must hove held a judicial office in India for at least ten years or he should be an advocate of a High Court or of two or more such courts in successia for at least ten years. (iii) He in the opinion of the President, is a distinguished jurist.
