1. Hinduism

Hinduism is one of the oldest organized religions in the world. It is considered one of the most complex and diverse religions, in which there are thousands of Gods, which have many main beliefs and exist in many different sects. Hinduism is the latent and largest religion in India.

Bhagavad Gita is a very important treatise of Hindu religion, it was also practiced by late Mahatma Gandhi. Although Hinduism is practiced by millions of people, none of its religious books, founders or teachings is a common group. The knowledge and knowledge of Hindu religion has been passed over generations. Traditions in Hinduism have always emphasized peace and harmony.

2. Christianity

Christianity is the largest organized religion in the world, with 2.4 billion followers and follower around the world. It is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, which is the focal point of Christianity, and has been referred to as the predicted Messiah in the Old Testament.

Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of mankind. Christianity has played an important role in the creation of Western civilization, which is more than 33% of the world's population today.

3. Buddhism

Buddhism is another peaceful religion which has existed many years ago. Buddhist teachings are based on religion which comprises of different traditions, spiritual practices and beliefs, which are primarily made up of Buddha's original teachings.

Buddhism was originally established in ancient India, from which religion then spread to a large part of Asia. Buddhism is considered to be the fourth largest religion in the world, with more than 520 million followers or more than 7% of the global population.

4. Taoism

Taoism, which can also be known as Daoism, is a religious or philosophical tradition of Chinese origin that emphasizes in harmony with Tao. Tao is a fundamental idea in most Chinese philosophical schools. And Taoism is the principle that is the source, substance and model of everything.

Taoism differs from Confucianism. Education of Taoism differs on the basis of special school, but in general, Taoism emphasizes the "naturalness", the art of simplicity and simplicity. Yinyang is the concept of naturalist and was practiced in Taoism. Tao Te Ching, a compact book that included Laodice's teachings, is widely considered to be the fundamental principles of Taoism and where education was based.

5. Jainism

Jainism is one of the oldest Indian religions and also the religion of peace. It is traditionally known as Jainism, which is based on three main principles, nonviolence which practiced non-violence, non-conquism and who practices unrest.

And these principles have influenced the culture of Jain followers, where most of them are practicing vegetarian lifestyle to avoid animal killings which will harm their life cycle. Namokar Mantra is the most common and basic prayer in Jainism.

6. Judaism

Judaism is also an ancient monotheistic Abrahamic religion like Christianity, but it is based on the Torah. Judaism is considered to be the tenth largest religion in the world, with more than 17 million followers in the world.

Judaism is the expression of the covenant that God had established with the children of Israel. It includes a wide variety of texts, theological posts, practices and organization. Torah is a large part of the lesson known as the Tanakh or the Hebrew Bible, which is the supplemental oral tradition, which includes the following texts, including the Midrash and the Talmud.

7. Sikhism

Sikhism is another peaceful religion which originated from the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent. It is considered the smallest and most prominent world religion. The basic beliefs of Sikhism are based on the holy book, Guru Granth Sahib.

Rather than giving yields to the Sikh religion, instead of practicing domestic life rather than monotheism, selfless service for others, equality of all human beings and religion, instead of doing true action for true righteousness, continuous spiritual practice of God's name. There are more than 25 million Sikhs worldwide, and most of them live in the Indian state of Punjab.

8. Atheism

Atheism, in a broad sense, is the absence of faith in the existence of Gods. The word 'atheism' has originated from ancient Greek, which means "without God". An atheism spread due to an independent thought, a suspicious investigation, and later an increase in the criticism of religion.

The first person to make his identity by the word 'the atheism' was from the era of enlightenment during the French Revolution. There is a logic for nonbeliever not believing in the gods, there is a logic that empirical evidence, logic of incompatible revelation and lack of logic of non-beliefs is a lack of logic. Although some atheists have adopted the philosophy of humanism, but there is no ideology or practice for which the atheist is adhered to.

9. Islam

Islam is a religion that teaches that there is only one God, who is Allah. And the Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of God. Islam is considered to be the world's second largest religion, and is the fastest growing major religion with more than 1.8 billion followers or nearly 24% of the world's population.

Followers who follow Islam are called Muslims. Islam teaches that God is merciful, unique, all-powerful and has guided mankind through the prophets, scriptures and natural signs. The primary scripture of Islam is the Koran and it is often considered the word of God by the Muslims.

10. Parsi religion

Parsi religion is another peaceful religion in the world, which is also basically called Majadasana, it is one of the oldest existing religions of the world. Major characteristics of Zoroastrianism, such as heaven and hell, angelism, and free, have influenced other religious systems including Christianity, Islam and Judaism.

Parsi religion is based on the teachings of the Iranian prophet Joraster, it shows a god of knowledge, Azura Mazda as its supreme and intelligent God. Most Parsis live in India and in Iran, and this religion is also popular among the Kurds.
