Sarojini Naidu is the first Indian woman Congress President and 'Kokilah of India' is recognized by this special name because she has made a significant contribution to the field of poetry as well as participating as a national leader. Today, he is aware of his important works.

Sarojini Naidu was born on February 13, 1879, in Hyderabad, to Anghore Nath Chattopadhyay and Barada Sundari Devi. His native village was Brahmangon, Bikrampur (now Bangladesh). His father, Aghorenath Chattopadhyay, was a doctor of science from the University of Edinburgh, which later established in Hyderabad, where he joined Hyderabad College, which later became the Nizam College of Hyderabad.

His mother Barada Sundari Devi was a Bengali poet. He was the eldest of his eight siblings. His brother Virendranath Chattopadhyay was a revolutionary and the second brother, Harindranath was a poet, an artist and actor.

Naidu passed his 10th examination from Madras University, but later he took a break of 4 years from studying. In 1895, the "Nizam Scholarship Institute", which was established by 6th Nizam-Mir Mehabub Ali Khan, gave Naidu the opportunity to study in the first King's College in England and later to teach at the Geerton College, Cambridge.

At the age of 19, after completing his studies, he met Dr. Govind Rajulu Naidu whom he was married. At that time inter-cast marriage was not allowed, but his father had done yes for his marriage.

Sarojini Naidu (birth name Sarojini Chattopadhyay) is also known as "Bulbul of India", she was an Indian freedom fighter and a poet. He served as Governor of United Agra and Oudh from 1947 to 1949, becoming the first woman governor of India. She became the second woman president of the Indian National Congress in 1925, and also became the first woman in India to do so.

Sarojini Naidu History 

1) At the age of 13, Sarojini wrote a book titled 'A Lady of Lake' of 1200 lines.

2) In 1918, he became chairman of the Madras Provincial Conference.

3) In 1919, the members of the delegation of the last house of the Indian Homer people came to visit this island from this place.

4) Mahatma Gandhi started civil disobedience movement in 1930. Sarasjini Naidu, who led the 'Salt Satyagraha' here in Gujarat, with great patience.

5) They participated in the 'Chale Jaav' movement of 1942 and went to jail.

6) In 1947, he was elected president of the Asian Council of the Asian Council in Delhi.

7) He was elected as the first Governor of Uttar Pradesh in independent India in 1947.
