Hon’ble Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers and My Dear Friends – Good Morning to all of you!

As we know that the festival of Baisakhi is not really very far, we could already feel the vibes in the atmosphere. It has become invigorating, bright and warm. Therefore, going by the mood of this festive season, I considered it apt to deliver a short speech on Baisakhi and to spread the message even further to those who don’t really know what the festival of Baisakhi is all about.

Baisakhi is an important festival celebrated primarily in by the Sikh community. It is the harvest festival wherein the farmers pay tribute and thank Gods for a bountiful harvest and also pray for prosperous future.

Baisakhi, also known as Vaisakhi, is celebrated on April 13th or April 14th of every year. It coincides with the Sikh New Year. On this day, in 1699, the tenth Sikh Guru, Gobind Singh JI, organized the order of the Khalsa. Hence it is of great importance to the Sikhs and they celebrate it with full zeal and zest.

On Baisakhi, people visit Gurudwaras to attend special prayer meetings. The Guru Granth Sahib, holy book of the Sikhs, is read to the followers in the Gurudwara. After the afternoon prayers, Karah Prasad or sweetened semolina is offered to the Guru and then distributed amongst the devotees.  Langar (community lunch) is made and served by the volunteers. Various kirtans are also held to remember God and the significance of this day. This festival marks the harvest of the winter crops hence, very significant to the farmers.  After paying respects in the Gurudwara, the men and women gather in a park or open field and ostentatiously celebrate the festival of Baisakhi.

On this day, many processions are held. People flock in large numbers to join these processions and celebrate the festival with the entire community. Famous Punjabi dhol adds to the fun and frolic of the celebration. The loud and energetic music brings everyone to the dance floor.  Men and women dress up in their traditional clothes and enjoy with lot of food, music and dance.  At many places, Baisakhi fairs are held. People participate in these fairs to buy goods from the local farmers and artisans.  Bhangra and gidda are performed by men and women respectively.  Wrestling matches, singing competitions and acrobatic performances are organized. Baisakhi is celebrated with all its charm and grandeur. It brings people together, reminds them of their cultural heritage and is a day to be thankful for all the gifts bestowed upon us by God.

Thnaks To All !

2-Speech on Baisakhi

Dear friends and loving kids - Best wishes to all of you!

As you know, this event is organized to invite all the suggestions, including our amazing children, which is related to the festival of Baisakhi. As a member of this organization, I have requested to make this crutches bigger and to make it even more special for all Sikhs. Therefore, in whatever way we can make this festival grand and special, we will all and help spread the message of brotherhood and peace everywhere.

However, before I invite all the suggestions, please allow me to give a short lecture on Baisakhi and share relevant information about this auspicious opportunity so that more and more people are aware of the significance of this festival. .

It is during 1660 that the famous Mughal emperor - Aurangzeb - separated everyone in his family and conquered the throne to become the emperor of India. Immediately after becoming a king and after receiving a climb on his subjects, he kept the policy of religious persecution and started the process of Islamization in India. Aurangzeb mainly targeted Brahmins during this process because they believed that if the Brahmin adopted Islam then the other would automatically be together. In order to realize its purpose, Aurangzeb imposed unfair religious taxes on Hindus and closed their learning places and temples.

It was during the crisis situation that Guru Tegh Bahadur - Ninth Sikh Guru - was contacted for his leadership and support. This was when Guru Tegh Bahadur went to Delhi, which was under Mughal rule.

However, later Guru Tegh Bahadur was martyred in front of a crowd of people. The executioner disposed of the body of the master in the open and no one claimed his body to go ahead and perform religious rituals for our great rituals. Even the most devoted disciples refused to recognize him and this was when the weather had become turbulent that two people took advantage of the situation and secretly took Guru Teg Bahadur's body to bury. This act of cowardly insulted Gobind Rai, son of Guru Tegh Bahadur and he resolved to make Sikhs their identity.

With this strong desire to create strength and courage among his fellow brothers, Gobind Rai began to be recognized as the tenth Sikh Guru. When he was 33, Guru Gobind got a divine message to follow his designs. After this, the Guru, on the occasion of Baisakhi, thinks that it will help in realizing his purpose, because every year the devotees come in large numbers and during this time Anandpur comes, i.e. the time of spring and their prayers to the Guru. Earlier in the year 1699, months before the day of Baisakhi, Guru Gobind Rai sent extraordinary messages to the devotees saying that the days of Baisakhi would be a special relationship. People were told that they do not cut their hair short and do not cut their chunks and hair under the turban. Apart from this, men were asked to gather in their fully developed beard.

In addition to fighting the political atrocities of the rulers, Guru Gobind Singh ji ensured that their society should be free from discrimination on the basis of caste, class and gender and the foundation of the Khalsa sect should be laid. Indeed, the claws created by the master are formed from the people of the upper and lower castes so that harmony and peace can be ensured in our society.

So let us make this day special for our revered Guru ji and all those devotees who work for the good of our society.

Thanks!

3-Speech on Baisakhi

Hon’ble Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers and My Dear Friends – Good Morning to all of you!

As we know that the festival of Baisakhi is not really very far, we could already feel the vibes in the atmosphere. It has become invigorating, bright and warm. Therefore, going by the mood of this festive season, I considered it apt to deliver a short speech on Baisakhi and to spread the message even further to those who don’t really know what the festival of Baisakhi is all about.

The most popular festival to celebrate crocodile Rabi crops is celebrated in Punjab's vibrant state. Baisakhi festival has religious significance for the state's main Sikh population as it was on the day of Baisakhi in 1699, which was the foundation of Guru Gobind Singh - the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Khalsa Panth.

The festival of Baisakhi is usually celebrated on April 13, but once every 36 years, this festival is celebrated on April 14. The happy people of Punjab celebrate Baisakhi with joy and glee. The main point of the Baisakhi ceremony is the presentation of traditional Bhangra and Gidda dance and special langur to be served in the gurdwaras.

When thousands of people gathered for the blessings of the Guru, Guru Gobind Singh came out of the tent with a sword without a sword. They gave a powerful speech to increase courage among the comrades. At the end of the speech he said that every great work was done equally before great sacrifice and demanded that anybody be ready to pursue his life. On the third call of the guru, a young man presented himself. The master took the man inside a tent and looked alone with a bloody sword. Guru Gobind Singh said to another volunteer. It was repeated four times until the total of five Sikhs did not go to the tent with the Guru. Everyone present was concerned and although Guru Gobind Singh killed five Sikhs. At this point, the Guru presented all five people in front of the people. Everyone was amazed at seeing all the five men alive and wearing turban and saffron garments.
Sikhism is a monotheistic religion established by Guru Nanak in the state of Punjab, India. It is a relatively new religion and was established in the 16th and 17th centuries with the teachings of ten gurus. Today, Sikhism is considered to be the world's leading religion and has more than 23 million followers.

Believers: The Sikh word comes from the word Sikh, which comes from its Sanskrit root 'sia', which means "disciple" or "learner", or equivalent to the word 'shikha'.

Thanks To All !

4-Speech on Baisakhi

Dear Friends - Best wishes to all of you!

Considering the festive season and the mood of the people, I decided to host the speech on Baisakhi. Being the secretary and member of our Vrindavan Society, I am as excited and excited as you are all and eager to celebrate festivals with great enthusiasm. But before we plan for preparations for crocodile preparations, it is important for everyone to send a formal note and also to spread awareness about this festival, because many people do not know about this auspicious day.

In fact, the festival of Baisakhi comes in the first day of Vaisakh month, i.e. between April to May, according to Sikh calendar or which is traditionally called non-monarchy. For this reason, Baisakhi is alternately called Vaishakhi. If we go according to the English Calendar, then the date of birth coincides with the said date, i.e. every year on April 13 and April 14 once every 36 years. This difference in dates is observed due to the fact that this festival is considered according to the solar calendar and not according to the lunar calendar. This future day of Baisakhi is celebrated throughout the country with different names and various interesting rituals as well as festivals. The date of Baisakhi dates in Bengal with Ars Naba Varsha, 'Am Puram Vishu' in Kerala, 'Ali Rongali Bihu in Assam' and Puthandu in Tamil Nadu.

It was in 1699 and the festival of Baisakhi was celebrated under the aegis of Guru Gobind Singh. During this day, Punch pyare or who are often called five lovely priests, who recited religious verses. Interestingly, Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji had prepared Amrita with her own hands in the iron vessel to bless the paternal beloved. Since then, it has become a ritual and is even being prepared in holy elixir or nectar like iron utensils, which are finally distributed among all those devotees who gather during chanting . It is a tradition that devotees take Amrita five times and work to spread the feeling of peace and brotherhood. Religious songs, i.e. Kirtan, are sung, which are rendered after distributing nectar and spirituality.

At noon, after the Baisakhi ritual, the most delicious Karah Prasad or sweet suji is offered to Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his blessing is sought. Then the offerings are distributed among the collected people. However, this is not all because it is a community lunch or special langur which symbolizes the culmination of this auspicious day. People are designed to sit in long lines with well-covered heads and volunteers who serve devotees with vegetarian food. The whole scene seems so overwhelming that hundreds and thousands of devotees gather under a roof and pray to the Guru and work in harmony.

So let's plan for a festival of festivals in our colony and make the most of this day.

Thanks!

5-Speech on Baisakhi

Honorable Principal, Vice Principal, Teacher and my dear friends - Good morning to all of you!

As we know that the festival of Baisakhi is not really far away, we can already feel the strain in the environment. It has become refreshing, bright and warm. Therefore, with the festive mood of this festival season, I thought it appropriate to give a short lecture on crutches and spread the message further, which is not really what the festival of Baisakhi is.

It is one of the most popular festivals and the state where its festivals are most obvious, there is definitely no other than Punjab. Baisakhi is celebrated to celebrate the harvesting of Rabi crops. The Baisakhi festival also holds a great religious significance for the Sikh population, which makes a majority in the state. Because of this, it is given so prominence, because on the day of Baisakhi, i.e., in 1699, the tenth guru of the Sikhs was given great respect - Guru Govind Singh established the Khalsa cult foundation.

Baisakhi festival is not celebrated on April 13, but once every 36 years, this festival falls on April 14. The people of Punjab await this festival with great enthusiasm and celebrate this day with glee and grief. Do you know what are the major attractions of this day? It is a special anchor for all the devotees in their traditional Gidda and Bhangra dance as well as in the gurudwaras.

People get up early to prepare for the day. There is also a ritual bathing in the holy river to mark this holy day. After doing all the preparations, people also go to Gurdwara which falls in their respective neighborhoods and they also form part of special prayer meetings organized to mark this day. After finally making an aarti of Baisakhi, devotees get specially prepared sweet semolina or people who are usually called Kara Prasad. After this there is usually an anchor of community lunch or guru.

Later, the people of the Sikh community took long bayak parade under the guidance of the Paws. The scene looks just as the procession passes through the main areas of the city between demonstrations based on children, men as well as devotional songs given by women. Gidda, Bhangra as well as fake couple cakes work as cherries because they make Parade really vibrant and colorful. People buy new clothes and dance, sing and enjoy the best meal of the festival.

Apart from all festivals and demonstrations, Baisakhi holds special relevance to that large community of farmers in Haryana and Punjab states. It accurately marks the time of New Year because it is the most favorable time for rabi harvest. On this day, the big farming community prayed to God to bless the crop and give rich crop. They pray for good times even further.

Now, I will request my fellow teammates to include me on stage and say a few words.

Thanks!

6-Speech on Baisakhi

Dear friend - Good morning !! I hope you find this day in the best spirit.

Today I'm here to give a short lecture on Baisakhi. The festival of Baisakhi is really auspicious and brings happiness to everyone's life because there is a rabi crop during this time. This festival is celebrated by people of every section of society in entire Haryana and Punjab. Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs are all part of the celebration. This day is celebrated every year on 13th April and people wear new clothes on this day. Delicious dishes are prepared, which also includes halwa which is offered to Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji.

To celebrate this festival, the fair is organized everywhere. The fair also imposes religious imports and every article sold sends a strong message about unity with God and humanity. Mostly, the fair is organized on the banks of the river because the religious institute organizes the fair.

Apart from fair, you can also inspect a lively, unarmed market on this day. There you can gorge on sweet dishes along with gorgeous food stalls. There are also attractive toy shops for children's interest. Of course, you will see a bunch in the fair and the whole scene looks so heavy. On one side of the market, you can find breathtaking ride to enjoy. They go up very high in the air, where girls and boys of every age enjoy it. Then there are the dancers of the rope who do their unbelievable posture only on the rope. Monkey shows are also where different feats are displayed by them and it creates interest in people.

At the other end of the market, crowds of people appear standing in the circle and many of them are farmers. They appear to be matching their steps with folk dances and drums of drums. Each farmer places a stick in his hand, which is later lifted in the air because the artist raises both his hands and shakes his feet. The scene looks very swirling because the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of dancers is clear. In fact, those who are introverted by nature forget their shy nature and become part of Gala demonstration.

Religious festivals also go along with these demonstrations, especially for elderly people who chant the hymns and mantras and experience the rise of the soul. Arya Samajwadi, Hindus and Sikhs host their Shamiyanas in which they give religious and spiritual lectures and sing bhajans also. Those who are part of the awning, they are above and above these worldly associations. They enjoy chanting chanting and working in God's service.

After enjoying many events in the daytime, people are tired of being dark and they happily return home with toys, sweets and fruits for their children. Thus, the Day of Baisakhi, like any other festival, offers people the opportunity to experience a sense of harmony and joy together.

Thanks!
