1-Speech on World Heritage Day

Welcome to our respected Chief Guests and Dear Audiences - 99th Seminar of our Radhakrishna Cultural Committee! I am your host for today - Geeta Shukla - and for the last four years I am an active part of this committee.

Friends, since we are all present here, I have great desire to give a speech on World Heritage Day, because somewhere I feel that people experience their national cultural heritage as well as the feeling of detachment globally. It is very necessary to develop and preserve the sense of pride on our national cultural heritage so that it can be blessed to appreciate the cultural property of our country.

Before I explain the importance of World Heritage Day, please let me first highlight what exactly is the world heritage site. A world heritage site has been classified as a man-made or natural building or area, which is of global importance and is a special place which requires special attention and security. Such sites are officially accepted by the United Nations as well as UNESCO, which is known as United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization. According to UNESCO, these sites have been classified as World Heritage and with great importance for humanity as well as physical and cultural importance.

On this day, therefore, wants to spread awareness about the challenges faced by the authorities in preserving the World Heritage Sites. This year 2017 has allowed communities to come together and celebrate the extreme influence of lasting tourism and how it can strengthen communities and inform the public.

Please do not be surprised when I say that there are approximately 1,052 world heritage sites. Of these, 814 come under the cultural category, 203 are considered natural and 35 are a mixture of both. Approximately 55 sites in Bethlehem are constantly in danger, including the birthplace of Jesus, the Church of the Nativity and the Pilgrimage Route.

Several suggestions have been suggested to consider how to celebrate this day of great global importance for this.

  • Encourage travel to sites and monuments as well as allow restoration functions with free entry.
  • Publish articles in magazines and newspapers, as well as send messages to radio and television.
  • Hang Banners around the main traffic artery or city squares attract people's attention on this day and encourage conservation of our cultural heritage.
  • Invite national and international personalities, including experts for interviews and conferences.
  • Organize discussion at City Hall, Cultural Centers and various other public places.
  • Encourage publishing of post-cards, posters, tickets and most important books.
  • Exhibitions through pictures, photos, etc.
  • Giving prizes to such people and organizations who have extraordinarily contributed to the promotion of our cultural heritage along with the promotion and also came up with an excellent publication on this subject.
  • Encourage such activities that increase awareness among children going to school as well as youth.
  • Reconstruct a recently renovated monument.

Thus, in many ways we can help maintain our cultural assets and raise awareness among people on the global stage.

Thanks!

2-Speech on World Heritage Day

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen - All of you are warmly welcomed and thank you for being part of this cultural heritage tour and coming out in large numbers to make it successful. Since I am one of the organizers of this trip, I assure you all that we will enjoy without any interruption and discover the royal beauty of our ancient monuments and heritage sites. You can take your cameras and other essential things so that you can enjoy every moment of the journey and capture your most wonderful memories there.

But friends, before starting this journey, please allow me to discuss the importance of my heritage sites and the reason behind celebrating World Heritage Day. World Heritage Day is celebrated all over the world and it inspires individuals and local communities to realize the importance of World Heritage Sites in our lives as a global citizen. Every year, this day is celebrated on 18th April. This is the international council at IOSOS, i.e., France, located in Monuments and Sites, which was named as World Heritage Day on April 18, 1982. As a result, the next year, i.e. passed in 1983 by the UNESCO General Assembly.

On this day there are many organized events that help people to go back to the ancient past. Events such as heritage walk are organized; Discussion and debate among specialist panelists is also facilitated for the cultural and ideological exchange of ideas. Since a subject has been fixed every year and the day is celebrated around that particular subject, the main issues of following years for following World Heritage Sites were the following:

  • Save our historic villages
  • 20th Century Heritage
  • Underground cultural heritage
  • Industrial heritage
  • 40th anniversary of ICOMOS
  • Cultural landscape and nature's monuments
  • Soil Architecture and Heritage
  • Heritage and Science and Heritage of Agriculture
  • Religious heritage and sacred place

In this manner, every year a theme is always dominated by the World Heritage Day festival so that a large number of people can come together and contribute for it. Come this year, take a pledge that we will now work as a tourists rather than responsible tourists. Rather than traveling in the form of a tourist, travel to different places as a volunteer and make meaningful contributions to encouraging the development of host communities which can be seen after the maintenance of heritage sites. If you travel abroad, then follow their culture and enjoy it with the resources provided, for example, look at your local cuisine at the restaurant, buy from your traditional markets and travel through your local transport. Please. In this way their economy will get very much support.

As has been put forward by the World Tourism Organization, in 2017, when World Heritage Day theme was a sustainable tourism, which says that "Tourism, which cares about the current, future economic, social and environmental impacts, needs of visitors completes. , Industry, environment and host communities ".

Thus, in the form of citizens we should not only protect our heritage sites of our country but also act as responsible tourists and leave a positive impact on the society, economy and environment of the place we are going. .

Thanks!

3-Speech on World Heritage Day

Good morning baby - I hope you all are doing well in your studies and if there is a problem related to your studies; So please feel free to come to my office. Today, I and all the teachers decided to gather all the children for the speech on World Heritage Day. Since the day is around the corner, I wanted to give knowledge to my children on this subject. As a Principal of this school, I try not only to make my children perform well in studies, but also to enlighten them on subjects which are very much concerned about mankind.

World Heritage has been described as the common wealth of mankind. This day is a great reminder of our rich cultural past and it is our responsibility that we protect our heritage not only for ourselves but for future generations. Undoubtedly, heritage sites should be preserved and protected. They are invaluable assets for mankind. The date of the holding of World Heritage Day is April 18 and it was first started in the year 1982. Council for International Council for Monuments and Sites for ICOMOS, ICOMOS started a seminar in Tunisia, the African Country.

Worldwide calls were made to celebrate "International Day for Monuments and Sights". This idea attracted the attention of the people and the members of the committee approved the suggestion. Later, the proposal was presented at the UNESCO General Conference, where a decree was passed in the month of November 1983.

Since that moment, the whole world began observing "International Monuments and Sites Day", which is also called "World Heritage Day" on 18th April. Our sites and monuments can only be protected through joint efforts of the global community. On the day of World Heritage, awareness campaigns are being organized to make the public aware of the diversity of our cultural heritage, and such solutions are needed to preserve and preserve it. It is true that the heritage sites are in contact with various risk factors and therefore we should strive with our full potential to provide protection to these valuable assets.

Interestingly, a theme has been chosen to celebrate this year every year. For example, suppose in the year 2010, "agricultural heritage" was decided as a subject. The whole idea was to consider its inevitable relationship with man's development and nature on this earth. Agricultural heritage emphasized on various types of agricultural activities, scenarios and systems, and how they shaped themselves as the progress of human civilization.

Thus, World Heritage Day is celebrated in many ways. Travel to sites and monuments has been planned to highlight the importance of preserving these cultural properties. When the restoration work is successful, people are often invited to visit these sites. There is also a wide media coverage that highlights the impressive monuments. Interviews and conferences are organized everywhere. Discussions and discussions are organized and exhibitions are also organized for a spectacular visual treatment. This day is actually a day for every concerned citizen of a country to feel proud of the great cultural property of its nation.

I hope everyone enjoy listening to this speech as much as I did in distributing it. I wanted to say all this.

Thanks!

4-Speech on World Heritage Day

Honorable Principal, Vice Principal, respected teacher and my dear friend - all the best wishes of the day!

First of all, I want to thank our beloved school principal and Vice Principal as well as our dear teachers to assemble here and get this event done. Friends, as you all know, the visit of the national heritage of Jaipur has been organized by our school in the coming weekend, for which surely we are very excited and really eager for it.

Therefore, considering this upcoming journey, we wanted to organize a speech function on World Heritage Day as students so that more awareness can be spread among the students and to create seriousness in preserving our heritage sites.

I am speaking from my personal experience and I am sure every one of you must have noticed at some point. Regarding the fact that many people have developed negligent attitude towards our national heritage. This is the reason that heritage buildings are often found damaged or tampered. However, it is due to the continuous restoration work of such sites by the authorities that our nation is still capable of maintaining its beauty, if not in its entirety, but at least to an extent it attracts millions of tourists year.

Heritage sites are either of our country or of any foreign land, they have to be worshiped and there should not be any harm to them. Therefore, on a special day, i.e. 18th April, has been devoted to World Heritage Sites, dedicated to raising people's consciousness about the diversity of rich cultural wealth and making them aware about the vulnerability of these sites.

This day is clearly seen to tell people about the need to preserve and preserve World Heritage Sites and spread about these monuments around the world. These invaluable possessions are a matter of great honor for humankind. Whether it is Taj Mahal - a symbol of love and romance, the Great Wall of China which can be seen from the moon or the Great Barrier Reef in which the underwater world's wealth or the Machu Picchu ruins are the symbol of the glorious period of the Incas - There is really something unique to offer to every visitor to each site.

In many ways, we can contribute towards the maintenance of world heritage sites so that their beauty does not diminish and they remain the center of attraction for people all over the world. At least we can do that, do not throw garbage or garbage anywhere near the base of these heritage sites. In this way we can help reduce the level of pollution to some extent. In addition to natural heritage sites, coastal areas need special attention because they provide shelter to various endangered species. For example, animals that have been poaching in the national park should be strictly prohibited because these animals play a major role in maintaining the ecological balance of our planet Earth.

According to a report, due to human activities in some preceding decades, more than 100 natural heritage sites have been tampered with and now it is seriously a high time that we hold ourselves back and others are also destroying these sites. To stop.

Thats all I have to say. Thanks!
