1-Speech on Ambedkar Jayanti in English

Honorable guests, principals, teachers and my dear students - Congratulations to all of you!

I heartily welcome everyone in the program organized in honor of Mr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. As you all know that today is April 14, that is the birth anniversary of Bhimrao Ambedkar - the person who gave his whole life for national and social reasons. Therefore, before we mark this great day and proceed with your formal rituals, I would like to give a brief speech on Ambedkar Jayanti and will refer to the relevance of this day.

Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhima Jayanti is not considered to be less than a festival in itself, which is celebrated on April 14 every year in a loving memory of Shri Bhimrao Ambedkar. He was born in the year 1 and 9 1 and this day is marked as a government holiday all over the country from 2015. Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated not only in India but also in some places outside of India.

Procession is done by the followers of Shri Bhimrao Ambedkar in places like Devbhumi in Nagpur and Chauthabhoomi in Mumbai. On this day, the Prime Minister, the President, as well as other prominent leaders of political parties known in New Delhi, are expected to express their devotion to the statue of Shri Ambedkar in the Indian Parliament, this is expected from the major Indian celebrities. It is celebrated around the world, mainly by the Dalits, who started following Buddhism after taking inspiration from them. On this day, you will find a lot of frenzy around Ambedkar's local idols.

Famous as Baba Saheb, he actively worked for the upliftment of untouchables and started various campaigns to fight social discrimination on the basis of caste, class and gender. This is due to his great contribution to social cause that he has a special place in the hearts of Indian people, especially for disadvantaged communities. He actually organized a huge force in our country as the Dalit Buddhist movement. It is primarily because of the reason that they are seen as a symbol of a dalit. Shri Bhimrao Ambedkar once said, "I measure the progress of any community with the degree of progress that women have achieved" - this quote has been found in the Ultimate Book of Quotation. In the year 1990, Baba Saheb was posthumously awarded India's highest civilian award, i.e. Bharat Ratna.

He was a man of great stature because he nurtured a vision for India's future and during his time there was no one who could match his knowledge and ideas:

  • Creation of Indian constitution;
  • India's agricultural and industrial progress;
  • Establishment of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in the year 1934

So let's take this important day together and remember all your finer things, which we hardly see in the current Indian politicians. I wish that if we can be more and more such endurance and loyal people in our Government of India, there is no great decline in the work of ethos and political maneuvers in India. Thats all I have to say.

Jai Hind!

He helped people to stand up to fight for their rights and to eradicate the caste system. Even he wrote a book on "eradication of caste", in which he discussed about India, who is suffering from discrimination on the basis of caste, class, race and gender. This is due to their active involvement in social work that people started addressing him as 'Babasaheb'.

He is also known as the father of our Indian Constitution because he played an important role in making the Constitution of India. During that time, the most important issue in the Indian Constitution was the reservation system, whose main purpose was to bring about the emergence of the weaker sections of society and improve their lifestyle and bring them together.

In fact, on April 14, the celebration of his memory is celebrated in the form of annual celebration. 4-Speech on Ambedkar Jayanti in English

Congratulations to everyone! All of you are welcome at the commemoration ceremony of Bhimrao Ambedkar.

I am extremely overwhelmed by seeing a large number of people on Ambedkar Jayanti today. As Bhimrao Ambedkar, we all know that it is popular as the father of our Indian constitution. Born on 14 April 1891 in MHOW (Military Headquarters of the War) of the state of Madhya Pradesh, Bhimrao Ambedkar devoted his entire life to the upliftment of untouchables. So a great personality that he was; Before we learn more about his life and achievements before offering him a tribute.

After studying law in the United States, he returned to India as a Master Scholar and could apply his visionary skills in building his country. He has published various magazines for the untouchables in India to increase awareness of political and civil rights as well as social freedom. They fought against the system of untouchability and devotedly against the caste system. The whole country remembers them for their excellent work and the beginning of the Dalit Buddhist movement. In addition to being the architect of the Indian Constitution, he also took over the post of Indian Law Minister.

In the year 1990, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna Award - the highest civilian award in India was given to one person for his exemplary achievements. His birthday, i.e. 14th April, is celebrated in the entire country as Mr. Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhima Jayanti and this day is declared a public holiday. Even a monument has been built in his memory at his Delhi residence on 26 Alipur Road.

On this day, huge procession is taken out by various Dalit organizations in memory of this great soul. In fact, on this day various government and non-government organizations organize various activities, such as rally and cultural programs. Dalit fairs are organized in different parts of the country. Meetings, prayers and memorials are also seen in the capitals of various states. Interestingly, hundreds and thousands of book-workshops are used to sell books. The message he gave to his supporters was "educated, organized and excited".

So let us come together and make this Jayanti more special with our prayers and offerings. Being marked as a great Indian political leader, historian, jurist, philosopher, anthropologist, economist, editor, teacher, revolutionary, prolific writer and Buddhist revivalist - it is not possible to mention his glorious accomplishments in words. Our words of praise will always be less than their accomplishments.

The only way to give him respect and praise from our heart is to walk on his path and adopt his principles. He envisioned India, which is above the prejudice of caste, class and gender and where people are irresponsible to their color, race and religion, they can live independently and have the opportunity to prove themselves in all stages of life. Can get it. So let's resolve to follow the same principle and make our country a better place for everyone. That's all I have to say.

Thanks!
