Bhakta Pundalik Story

Pundalik used to serve a lot of his parents. God was pleased with the passion that he was serving his parents and Lord Vishnu decided to give him a glimpse soon.

That is why for the Pundalik to leave the Lord Vishnu Vaikunth, the ashram came to meet Pundalik.

Lord Vishnu came to his door and started knocking on the door, but Pundalik was serving food to his parents at the time. Listening to the voice of the door, she realized that God is standing at her door.

But she was busy serving her parents because she wanted her to fulfill her duty first and later she opened the door. But Pundalik was so absorbed in the service of the parents that he did something different.

He threw an eart outside the door and asked God to stand on it until he could serve his parents full.

Lord Vishnu was very happy and impressed by seeing Pundalik's service to his parents, and God started looking for the path of his beloved devotee.

When Pundalik came out after serving the parents, he started apologizing to God for opening the door, but instead of pardoning him, he was very pleased with his work and blessed him for Pundalik.

Pundalik once again prayed to God to come to earth and bless his devotees.

God accepted his point and told him that he would take a new incarnation in the form of Lord Vithoba, because the God who stands on it will know all the names of Vithoba and there will also be a large temple of Vithoba Vithoba. In this temple, Lord Vitoba is worshiped in goddess Rakhumai (wife of Lord Rukmini Lord Krishna).
